4 years ago, my wife and I were shopping tires and investigating what we thought would be an acceptable tire for our 2006 Sienna. We went to Sears and they were not selling or installing tires due to the store closing. We were told that Sears has slod the rights to the Weatherhandler we normally bought that Hankook now owns the rights to the tire. We went to XYZ and they had the tire in stock. Just to test the honesty factor I had one brought to my Sienna to compare tread design and by golly, it was the same. 90,000 mile tread wear? Not exactly but we actually got 96,000 miles on these tires (understand we follow the maintenance plane 100%) and, since I have the tools, I rotate the tire myself, maintain proper air pressure and regular alignment if something doesn't feel (right). Numerous trips from Knoxville, Tennessee to Monson, Maine - sometimes twice in a year has been tire trouble free. Don't let the Hankook name fool you. This is a quality product and performs just as advertised with the owners' maintaining regularly.

Why do you need all-season tires? All-season tires include tread designs and rubber compositions that make them suitable for use in a variety of hot and cold temperatures that could affect road conditions. Since the tires are designed to withstand light snow, anyone can use them all year long in most climates.
Seasonal changes in the weather can be constant. Investing in a set of all-season tires can benefit you in a number of ways to help prevent mishaps that might occur as a result of dangerous weather conditions. The Hankook Kinergy PT (H737) is an all-season tire that offers strong traction, performance, and reduced carbon emissions. These tires are designed for use on coupes, sedans, and SUVs.
Can you benefit from buying a set of these Hankook tires? Let's go over the features and benefits of installing these tires in this Hankook Kinergy PT (H737) review.
Features and Benefits
Many drivers choose all-season tires because they prevent the inconvenience and expense of changing tires for different seasons. The Hankook Kinergy PT (H737), like any other product, has features and benefits. In order to determine if these tires are the best option for your vehicle, let's examine their features and benefits.
- Solid all-season traction: The all-season rubber compound’s unique high structure and small particle size improves all-season traction by remaining flexible even at cooler temperatures. Asymmetric tread pattern and high siping density ensure a good hold on the road surface in dry, wet, and cold conditions.
- Reduced risk of hydroplaning: In order to successfully prevent hydroplaning when driving through standing water, the tread's wide circumferential grooves, wide lateral shoulder grooves and water slant sipes all work together to remove water and slush from underneath the tire's footprint. A better hydroplaning boosts great all-season traction.
- Improved controllability: The tread pattern’s increased stiffness prevents tread flexing while you're driving, which improves steering response and stability. In other words, the steering is more responsive to the driver's commands and the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure influencing it. Asymmetric tread design's outer shoulder pattern multiplies the amount of biting edges that firmly grasp the road surface in all conditions to enhance turning and maneuvering abilities.
- Fuel efficiency: A carbon black rubber compound is used in the Kinergy PT (H737) to lessen rolling resistance, which lowers CO2 emissions and improves fuel efficiency.
- Quiet Drive: Hankook Kinergy PT (H737) tires have an optimized design that lessens road noises and vibrations to provide drivers and passengers with a peaceful, comfortable ride.
- Visual Alignment Indicator: The tread pattern for the tire incorporates Visual Alignment Indicators, or VAI. They run parallel to one another on the tire's shoulders, and the way they deteriorate visually reflects the tire's uniformity and pace of tread wear. When both shoulders are the same, the tire is aging evenly. However, if the VAI wear rate varies, the tire is wearing unevenly, which may be the result of poor alignment. In these circumstances, the car must be inspected to make sure everything is in working order.
Pros and Cons
So, is this the all-season tire you were looking for ? Before expressing our ultimate judgment let's first examine its Pros and Cons:
- All-season tread design to boost traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions.
- Backed by a 90,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Optimized tread blocks ensure enhanced durability.
- Durable compound boosts longer tread life.
- Computer optimized design lowers road noise.
- Asymmetric tread pattern boosts dry handling and cornering performance.
- Tie-bar of lateral groove to offer solid handling and braking.
- Center rib boosts solid traction for great dry handling and tracking performance.
- Wide circumferential grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
- Visual Alignment indicator to alert drivers when their tires need to be aligned to prevent uneven and premature wear.
There are certain areas where the Hankook Kinergy PT (H737) tire might be improved despite having all of these pros and cons, including:
- Not the best in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
- Should not be taken off-road.
- Some drivers have reported issues with uneven wear
- Traction could be better

I bought these tires on Walmart.com. They were shipped to Walmart and they installed them on my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. I got 32,000 miles out of a 90,000 mile tire. I contacted Walmart and they said they can't pro rate these tires because they were bought on Walmart.com. For them to help they said that I would have to purchase a tire that they have in store that is comparable to the 737 (Goodyear outlast). The thing about that is I have to get them installed before they can tell me what they will cost (BS).

Haven't had these tires long enough to rate the tread life or winter traction yet, that will come soon enough...Very quiet compared to the stock tires I had on my Jeep Patriot and handle very good in the rain.
This is an update to my previous, very positive review. That review still stands. I failed to mention, however, how positive my experience was with Simple Tire! It truly was effortless and everything worked exactly as it was supposed to work. I am very pleased and Simple Tire will definitely be part of any tire purchase in the future. I highly recommend Simple Tire!
In Alaska, we often use a set of studded, siped tires for winter ice and snow so these tires will only be used in the spring, summer and fall. Nonetheless, we are remarkably pleased with these tires. My wife says they completely changed how her car handles - for the better! She described it like driving on a cloud. It felt like her car just floated along. In fairness, we also installed new struts, badly needed. But the tires truly do provide all that we could have hoped. Quiet ride, with exceptional handling and an excellent tread warranty. We are very pleased!
