For most drivers of light trucks, SUVs, and vans, all-season light truck tires make the most sense. Realistically, most people keep their trucks and SUVs on the pavement, and don’t really go off-road that often. Just like most drivers, they need a tire that can deliver year-round traction with a generous tread life, low highway noise, durability, and ride comfort that’s suitable for long road trips on the interstate and handling that’s stable and predictable. When you take that all into account, it makes sense that you’d see a lot of light truck all-season tires on the road.

That’s where the Hankook Dynapro AS RH03 shows itself as a great candidate. Hankook offers premium tires that are OEM for more and more vehicles, and the Dynapro AS RH03 is designed for dependable traction and performance in a variety of weather conditions, especially good grip in wet weather.

But don’t just take our word for it – come along as we go in for a deeper look with this Hankook Dynapro AS (RH03) review.

    Features and Benefits

Here’s some of what you can expect with the Hankook Dynapro AS RH03:

    • Solid shoulder rib enhances cornering ability, handling
    • Rigid tread area reduces tread squirm, improves high-speed stability and handling

SimpleTire’s view on Hankook Dynapro AS (RH03) tires

There are a lot of all-season tires for light trucks and SUVs on the market, at all price points, and in most cases, they’re going to be a you-get-what-you-pay-for proposition. Our overview of the Hankook Dynapro AS RH03 is that this is a great choice for a mid-range all-season tire for your truck. Hankook is Korea’s premier tire manufacturer, and the Dynapro AS RH03 is a tire that can deliver great performance and civilized behavior on wet or dry pavement, with the kind of durability and dependable, predictable handling you need for a light truck.

The Hankook Dynapro AS RH03’s hydroplaning resistance is excellent, for real confidence on wet pavement. On dry pavement, the ride is excellent with good isolation from vibrations and irregularities in the road, and a noise level you’d expect from a much more expensive automotive tire. While the tire doesn’t have a tread life warranty, Hankook does cover it against manufacturing defects.

As for the cons listed above, it’s not too surprising that this tire doesn’t do great in deeper snow – most all-season tires don’t, nor do they do well in off-road performance.

All in all, when you take into consideration wet/dry weather traction, and handling, plus the price point, noise level, and ride quality, we feel that the Hankook Dynapro AS RH03 is a great value.
