After only about 7,000 I had to replace the tires. I knew the tread life was an issue from other reviews before purchasing, but I wasn't expecting this. I loved the look of the tires and the road noise wasn't nearly so bad as what you'd expect from such an aggressive tread, but the tread life is absolutely unacceptable. Anyone who gives these a good rating hasn't owned them for very long. I only had them on my truck for 9 months altogether, and during some of those months I primarily drove my Trans Am. I called the company I purchased from, Discount Tire Direct, to complain and was informed that GT Radial does not offer a tread warranty on this model. The manufacturer would not warranty my tires, despite their claimed 5 year warranty, saying it wasn't a manufacturer's defect. DTD did offer to pay for two new tires if I purchased the other two, but I will not be getting another set of GT Radial Adventuros. The tread life is utterly ridiculous and they do not stand behind their products. Note: I never drove these in the winter, but SimpleTire made me choose a rating for Winter Traction. Judging by the lower than average wet handling, I assume they will be at least equally poor in snow.

So far so good. Price was right at the time. Although I'm thinking I should have used Simple tires payment plan and got the Toyos that I had before. Time will tell.
