Work well in lite to moderate snow & ice. Not so good in slush.
I've owned a set of these before and would purchase again. Excellent in snow, slush, and as good as you can be on ice without studs. Only complaint is they can be a little unpredictable in dry conditions with hard cornering or quick lane changes.
I will say that I won't buy directional tires again though, rotating them for even wear is not easy.
I had these tires a few years ago for my Subaru Forester. Then I tried something else -- big mistake. Found these again at Simple Tire and snapped them up. These tires have an incredible grip on snowy and icy tires -- I live in the mountains of Colorado and have to drive windy mountain roads covered in snow. I never slip, slide or anything with these tires on. Could not recommend them strongly enough.
Great tire! Haven't used in the snow yet but they do great in wet conditions.
Awesome would highly recommend.
I was hesitant to purchase these tires due to the price but after one winter I made the right choice. These tires handle beautifully in slush, ice, and low amounts of snow. When you get into the 4"+ of snow, I can feel the tires float, but they may be from the 20" tires I have on my suburban. If you rarely see snow over 3-4" while doing highway driving, these tires are for you.
