Purchased a set of four Marathons for my car hauler trailer. Just finished a 1,200 mile trip with my rally car on the trailer and the tires worked great. Quiet, no heat issues, good braking response. Very happy with the tires so far.

replacing 19 yr. old boat trailer tires ( same goodyear marathons I purchased in 2001 & still had good tread but were starting to dry rot ) I only put approx. 1200 miles a year trailing boat to various lakes in Wisc. Michelin Defender truck tires on my truck ride noise free and improved my mileage. The best part of this tire is the worry free driving I get knowing I have a quality set of tires. Better ride, aborbs road shock. For years Goodyear has been factory equipment on boat trailers with good reason. Now I'm not happy that the Goodyear trailer tires are now being made in China, however I'm sure the quality is there or Goodyear would not have it's name on it. I'm a made in the USA kind of guy, but boat tires made in America is a thing of the past.

These tires are junk. Have blown 2 on my 38 foot 5th wheel in 3 months. The tires are 4 years old and have maybe 3500 miles on them. It is no wonder there is a class-action lawsuit pending against Goodyear over these Marathons.

This is a Trailer Only tire. I use these on my boat trailer. This is one of the Best Trailer tires available! Great All Purpose Trailer Tire. Great Treadlife and Durability, but it doesn't get that many miles because I live close to the boat ramp. I've never had a Goodyear Marathon Trailer Tire Failure!
