By far one of the best tires I have ever had. They survived a cross country road trip that went from wet to dry on and off road, then down to Mexico where they pre-ran the Baja 1000, then back home with little tread loss and no damage. Incredible! Already purchased another set for my other truck.
Ok I wanted to wait at least 1500 miles before I submitted A review, we all know anything NEW is wonderful, with the exception of a few bad apples, anyways I absolutely love these tires, I was skeptical at first but my worries soon disappeared after seeing the on a tire balancer and they all balanced wonderful and spun perfectly "round". The road noise is almost un-noticeable, very quiet for an "off-road" tire, the ride is fantastic. As far as wet pavement and snow traction I am not much help because I have not encountered that as of yet, it is still summer here. Made in America? Yes. Recommend? Absolutely. Quality tire for the price point. I know there are plenty of tire manufacturers out there with better (and worse) pricing of there tires but this General tire has my thumbs up. I drive an 2000 model F-350 Superduty 4X4 crew cab, short bed with a 4" lift, nothing fancy.......
Great looking set of tires, not to loud either will definitely buy more. Great off road traction. Not to much give in cornering either ðŸ'ðŸ'ðŸ'ðŸ'
Tires are great! Came super fast! Would extremely recommend them. Would buy again.
Some of the best tires I have ever had. I have ran Mickey Thompsons Baja MTZ, Goodyear Wrangler MTRs, and BFG Mud Terrains KM2. From rock crawling to trails to the baja desert..the General X3s have outperformed in every way!
Excellent tire, had on my rubicon wrangler. It handled all conditions thrown at it. Wet roads, mud, snow, and ice. Did superbly on rocks off road. Very slight noise thru soft top. Excellent road manners.
So far so good, haven't had a chance to get into snow yet so can't review that. Only put 2,000 miles on these so far so not sure on the tread life but I don't see any unusual wearing. I did notice that they were a bit squirrely after they were installed but seemed to have calmed down now after a few miles. I read the same in another review but didn't expect them to do that with a stiff sidewall. Either way so far I like them, they have minimal noise for a mud tire and less than my Cooper AT's I had on it.
The best tire that I had on a off road truck very good on rocks, hills, sand, and mud
