The Grabber Arctic is a studdable winter tire that's designed to give drivers of large SUVs and pickup trucks outstanding traction in snow, ice, and wet conditions.
Features & Benefits
- Winter tread design that can feature studs
- Black sidewall
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol on the tire's sidewall means that this tire can perform in severe snow conditions.
- LT metric sized can be pinned 11 mm (TSMI #12) studs for extra traction and grip in severe winter weather conditions
Whether you drive a GMC Yukon, Ford F-250 HD or another larger vehicle, driving through snow and ice can be a nerve-racking experience due to slippery surfaces. The Grabber Arctic from General Tire is designed to give these larger vehicles outstanding traction on snowy, icy, and wet roads along with strong durability and ride comfort. Featuring DURAGEN Technology, the Grabber Arctic has added rubber to fight against cuts and chips along with excellent braking and handling. The Grabber Arctic's tread pattern is designed to move water and slush away from the center of the tire to give drivers confident handling, and the tire's tread has been reinforced to further boost braking capabilities. Able to be pinned for winter studs, the Grabber Arctic is Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified thanks to its ability to perform in severe snow conditions.
Winter tires are built with a flexible rubber compound that allows for consistent grip on roads when the temperature is below 40 degrees. Able to conquer ice, snow, and slush, winter tires are either come in a standard design or they can be pinned with studs to improve grip.
Passenger tires are some of the most common tires you'll find on the roads today, and frequently used on coupes, sedans, hatchbacks, minivans, and other passenger vehicles. Passenger tires are available in a wide variety of types, such as all-season, winter, and ultra-high-performance.
A three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol branded on a tire's sidewall indicates the tire meets required performance criteria in snow testing to be considered severe snow service-rated
