The Galaxy Trailer Special 9-14.5, Load Range G, 14 ply tires were the tires that the trailer came equipped with. When the original set of tires needed replacing, other brands of 9-14.5 tires were used, but with unsatisfactory results. There were tire failures on nearly every of the other three brands of tires. Going back to running only Galaxy Trailer Special tires was the right decision. They are rated to carry 3,840 lbs per tire, and have done so when needed. Very much recommended.
