These are affordable, ride well, quiet, and have decent grip. Where they fall down to me is that the sidewalls are preposterously soft, to the point the cat becomes floaty and disconnected over 70mph. It's not terrible, but you have to be mindful of the steering wheel at highway speeds, and are forced to make minor corrections.

These tires are on my boosted Honda Civic. It makes 700whp so every tire I tried would spin. These haven't spun on me one time. Amazing tires and are going to buy another set just to keep on stand by.

Got these on my 17 Subaru WRX. I drove pretty aggressive, I corner hard and brake pretty hard. These tires are great, very grippy. I didn't expect it to be this good. Definitely undervalued price wise.

One of the best tires I have ever had the pleasure of using. Have them in 235/35/19 on mt 550HP VW Golf R and the grip is awesome even in rain. I tested on a road while it was pouring rain with a jackrabbit start at a light and the car went without even triggering the traction control system. Then I tried launch control mode and then yeah it triggered the traction light and I was spinning all 4 wheels but thats still pretty good for non launch control! The ride is smooth and quiet, better than my 17s with all seasons. Sucks that there is no treadlife warranty on it but seems that isn't an issue because I still have plenty of tread after 25-30k miles of daily driving with lots of launches and speed runs mixed in.

On my 2nd set. I've put them through a storm, drove through wet hilly mountains, and dry hot roads. They do well.

I've done a 1500 mile road trip on these tires in the rain and these felt amazing. The tires did amazing in the mountain roads on wet pavement. Love these tires. I'm on my second set. For an all season tire, these have held well.

This is my first real departure from Continentals and Michelin's. So far so good. Tires are holding up well on a 2010 Merced's Benz S 63 AMG. I will update after a few more months.

I love these tires. My 2nd set. I've done 100mph in the rain and the tires hold up extremely well. An overall tire that does everything you need in the rain and dry. Highly recommend.

Get technical:

An ultra high performance tire, then Evoluzion ST-1 is designed for use on coupes, performance sedans, and sports cars, and offers drivers strong performance and comfort on wet and dry roads.

Features & Benefits

  • Tread is designed for use in warmer weather
  • Black sidewall
  • Built with an advanced wet grip rubber compound to optimize traction on wet and dry roads

Finding a set of tires that performs on dry and wet roads is a must for most drivers, and those who use coupes, performance sedans, and sports cars often want a tire that won't hinder their ride's performance capabilities. Fortunately, Federal Tires built the Evoluzion ST-1 with these drivers in mind as its advanced rubber compound optimizes traction on dry and wet roads. Three wide and one thin groove within the tread remove water to reduce the risk of hydroplaning, and the Evoluzion ST-1 also puts more rubber on the road to strengthen traction and steering accuracy.
