A subsidiary of Japanese tire manufacturer Sumitomo, Falken embarked on the North American journey in 1985 by producing tires for passenger cars, minivans, SUVs, CUVs, light trucks, medium trucks, and commercial vehicles. The four-decade-old company has earned a reputation in the market for its different category tires like all-season, all-terrain, UHP, winter, and mud terrain. Its Sincera SN201 A/S tire line is a great product in its all-season tires’ country portfolio.

Designed for compact and mid-size sedans, the Falken Sincera SN201 A/S offers drives enhanced performance year-round. Whether it’s dry, wet, or light snow, this tire excels in terms of handling, stability, and braking performance. The use of Tension Control Technology further improves its handling abilities on dry as well as wet surfaces.

An excellent, affordable option for everyday use, the Falken tire offers a reassuring grip and traction thanks to high sipe density and circumferential grooves that clear water quickly from the surface to avoid hydroplaning. For improved grip on snow, the tire features angled tread grooves that help it maintain consistent traction in light winter weather conditions. Available in a wide range of tire sizes, the tire is backed by the company’s limited tread life warranty of up to 65,000 miles.

So, what makes this Falken tire perform to the levels the company claims? Let’s find out in this Falken Sincera SN201 A/S tire review. Read on.

    Features and Benefits

All-season tires are engineered to offer excellent traction in dry, wet, and light snow conditions. They offer enough grip while acceleration and braking to get you through most of the seasons of the year. The Falken Sincera SN201 A/S is certainly among the value-for-money all-season tires.

    • Year-round traction – Four circumferential grooves ensure the water is quickly dispersed from the tread to avoid the risk of hydroplaning. The use of a special all-season rubber compound allows the tread blocks to maintain flexibility in the changing weather conditions to ensure optimum performance year-round.

    • Improved handling and comfort– The symmetric rib design uses stiffer ribs for lending maximum handling, stability, and comfort. The optimized pattern ensures soundwaves are trapped within the tread and are not filtered inside the cabin. The wide ribs with dense sipes ensure there is increased stability with excellent wearability. The solid center rib improves steering responsiveness to make it a better handler.

    • Long-lasting wear – The unique cross-rotation patterns on ribs limit irregular wear and promote even wear. The strong shoulders with lateral grooves not only improve handling but also ensure there is even wear throughout the life cycle of the tire. The backing of 65,000 of limited manufacturer warranty is a testament to the fact that this tire lasts long.

Bought a set in July and another set in August because i was impressed with the handling and how quite they are. And for the price they feel like a steal.I will definitely be purchasing them again. Haven't driven them many miles yet or in the snow yet but that is coming shortly. From what i experienced so far i don't expect any problems.
