Studded these tires. Thats why i bought them. Usually i run Cooper but i had problems with my Hyundai Accent eating tires. So i tried these. They feel great in deep snow and icy conditions. Able to pass rolling road blocks and still do 65 down the highway. Great confidence builder from the false sense of security these tires give in weather that most people should not be out in. Pair i purchased couple years ago have greater stud retention than the Coopers mud and snow. Havent lost a stud yet. A little noisy. Woman complains its like a truck. I say its good traction. Due to this car eating tires every 20k miles i cannot say they are any better or worse than any other tire.

I like the tires and the tread depth and this is my 2nd set but the first set I bought were the Sigma tires 225/75r15 and I think the Sigma tire Arctic Claw Winter TXI tire is better than the cordovan as it seemed better quality made although being made by the same people they are both very good tires=
