SimpleTire’s view on Carlstar Reliance Rib tires
Low-ply ratings may be helpful in terms of delivering soft rides, but they’re not always the best in terms of carrying heavy loads. It is for this reason that Carlstar has prioritized utility over comfort for the Reliance Rib, offering a 6-ply rating to deliver exactly what customers want. During the Carlstar Reliance Rib tire review, we found it a bit of a challenge to wrestle with the reinforced sidewalls and thick tread to install them but soon realized that they were meant to provide high rigidity. They can grip the grass well without leaving any bald tracks whatsoever. It behaves like an all-season tire, implying that it provides traction and performance on dry, wet, and mildly cold surfaces throughout the year.
