  • Atturo Tire originated in 2009, and is known to produce high-quality tires to be used on light trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, muscle cars, commercial vans, and specialty trailers. Built for "out-doers" that seek and conquer different adventures, Atturo is a name that you must have surely heard of as it is revered as an expert in the SUV and 4x4 market thanks to its deep roots in the off-road space.

With multiple all-terrain tires available, it can be difficult to find one that provides the right balance of on- and off-road performance and durability. Fortunately, the Atturo Trail Blade A/T is also known for delivering solid performance in wear, winter, and wet weather conditions.

But is this the right tire for you and your ride? Let’s take a look at this Atturo Trail Blade A/T review.

    Features and Benefits

The Trail Blade A/T offers strong durability combined with aggressive styling and an optimized tread design, making it a solid choice for Jeeps, SUVs, light trucks, and 4x4 owners on the road, in the snow, or in most off-road environments. Let’s take a look at the Atturo Trail Blade A/T tire review to help understand all its features and benefits at a glance:

    • Enhanced traction: Small stepped center tread blocks and an interlocked tread pattern at the base of the Trail Blade A/T delivers solid off-road forward and lateral traction.
    • Suitable for all terrains: The increased numbers of biting edges deliver aggressive performance on all types of terrain.
    • Reduced hydroplaning: Four wide circumferential grooves and curved inside tread blocks help flush water away from the tread, maintaining traction.
    • Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified: The Trail Blade A/T is a Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified tire with high sipe density that ensures superior snow and ice traction.
    • Reduced road noise: An innovative A-B tread pattern minimizes road noise while driving.
    • Longer tread life: The aggressive 3-ply sidewall design of the Trail Blade A/T protects it against cuts, tears, and abrasions while ensuring a longer tread life.
    • Optimized steering response: The broad shoulder blocks optimize the contact area to deliver solid wear and handling under multiple load conditions.

The wheel size ranges from 16-inch to 20-inch which makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of vehicles on roads today. Additionally, the tire is backed by Atturo’s 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

    Pros and Cons

Before deciding whether to buy the Atturo Trail Blade A/T or not, let’s first drill down on a few factors that can help you decide whether or not the tire is right for you.

    • Interlocking tread pattern for optimized off-road and lateral traction
    • Large quantity of biting edges for aggressive performance on all types of terrain
    • Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified thanks to high sipe density that allows for superior snow and ice traction
    • Aggressive 3-ply sidewall designed to protect against cuts, tears, and abrasions
    • Broad shoulders optimize footprint for excellent wear and handling under multiple load conditions

While Atturo makes a good claim about the Trail Blade A/T’s performance, some shortcomings may divide opinions.

    • The ride is firmer than its closest premium competitors
    • Tread noise is a slight issue on rough pavement
    • Not available for use coupes, sedans, minivans, and some CUVs

SimpleTire’s view on Atturo Trail Blade A/T tires

For the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, or full-sized SUVs, the Trail Blade A/T is a solid tire for strong on- and off-road traction. Additionally, it performs well on wet and wintery roads as its broad shoulder curve and inside tread are designed for longer wear so that drivers can stay on the trails and roads longer. Plus, this tire comes with a Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification that makes it conquer severe snow conditions without sacrificing handling or performance.

Overall, this is a solid tire that’s considerably regarded in its segment and a good option at an affordable price. If you’re looking for a more durable tire, then consider the Kenda Klever R/T KR601 but keep in mind that it will cost much more than the Atturo and does not offer a warranty. Additionally, the GT Radial Adventuro AT3 offers a slightly longer tread life and a great warranty, but does so at a higher price.

Vehicles the Atturo Trail Blade A/T is a good replacement tire for

This tire is an ideal choice for a wide range of vehicles on roads ranging from Jeeps, pickup trucks, and full-size SUVs. Consider the Trail Blade A/T if you drive a Chevrolet Colorado, Ford F-350-Super-Duty-XLT, Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Frontier, RAM 3500-Lone-Star, Toyota Tacoma and many more.

Great tires for the price. I had the same tires on previously and I was very happy overall. They wear great and they are good in snow.

Replaced my Toyo AT3 with the Atturo, same exact size. 285/55/20. Very pleased with the purchase. Only problem I have is, the Atturo seems to be smaller of a tire. Not sure if its the tread or not. Would still recommend. 2011 Suburban

Put these on a 92 f350 idi that I use almost exclusively for towing a car trailer on highways. Drove from NJ to KY/WV border with full car trailer and tires rode quietly, no weird wear patterns. Somewhat hard to find size and this was a great price.

These were perfect for our sons truck and the price was perfect for his budget since he's in the Air Force. He loves them with all the driving he does.

I purchased and did a 2500 mile trip. It performed well offroad in rocky terrain. I haven't tested it in the wet or snow. Downside is that it seems to wear pretty quickly. Plus side is the cost and works for light offroad use.

I've had 2 sets of these on my truck over the past few years and they've done fairly well for a cheap tire. dry traction is great and wet traction was a whole lot better than the Goodyear Wrangler SRs that were on my truck originally. The only issue I've had with them is there's been a vibration at highway speeds since installing either set. It was really noticeable when I hooked a trailer, afterward I took my truck to have the tires rebalanced. The shop did a road force balance and the vibration remained. I lived with that for a while as well until I rotated my tires - the vibration became MUCH worse afterward. I'm now going to a different brand for my next set. I'd say if you have a farm/work truck that doesn't see much highway time these tires would serve you well. But if you spend time traveling at speeds @55 mph or more, I'd look elsewhere.

Bang for your buck they are good to get you by. As far as along lasting tire you might get two years out of them.
