Atturo Tire is a private tire brand company that has been offering a wide range of light truck and SUV tires. The tire brand also offers tires for commercial vehicles and trailers, and its range of tires is known for its innovative sizes and designs. The tire manufacturer introduced the Atturo ST200 trailer tire in 2018 and the tire featured a reinforced construction to carry heavy loads at a higher center of gravity. In this Atturo ST200 review, we will take you through the features and benefits, pros and cons, vehicle compatibility, and our verdict on this tire to help the purchasers make an informed decision.

    Features and Benefits

The Atturo ST200 comes in a variety of ply-ratings and is available in high load indexes to make it good for use on utility, recreational, and work trailers. Since it is a trailer tire, it is intended for use on trailer axles only and is optimized for longevity and great hauling capacity. That being said, the tire is not made for steering or drive axle applications. The core design and structure of the tire are engineered for highway terrains and all-season use, which means it is great for use on paved roads and can provide traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. Now, let’s take a look at the features and benefits of this tire.

    • Better wet performance – The tire features four circumferential channels that ease water dispersion from the contact patch area to ensure that the tire maintains solid contact with the surfaces and provides the required amount of traction to the trailers to track effortlessly without skidding or losing grip.
    • Enhanced directional stability and confident tracking – The solid center rib of the Atturo ST200 provides enhanced directional stability to the tow vehicle and also helps in confident tracking.
    • Optimum traction in unexpected weather conditions – The tread blocks of the ST200 feature tread sipes that provide additional biting edges for extra traction required in unexpected weather conditions.
    • Enhanced traction and stability – The interlocking tread blocks seen on the shoulders of the Atturo ST200 are engineered to provide stability and assist in flushing away water and snow from the footprint. They also provide additional biting edges to enhance grip and traction.
    • Quieter rolling – The tread design and pitch sequencing of the Atturo ST200 are such that they do not allow airwaves to accumulate in the footprint and generate tread noises. The interlocking shoulder and inner tread blocks control the rolling pressure noises while tracking.
    • Solid load-carrying capacity – The ST200 trailer tire gets a reinforced construction that boosts the load-carrying capacity. The tire’s durable compound and solid structure ensure that heavy loads are easily carried at a higher center of gravity.

The Atturo ST200 is offered in 12- to 16-inch rim sizes and some of the available sizes are:

SimpleTire’s view on Atturo ST200 tires

If you need a trailer tire that’s suitable for highway use, comes with year-round capability, and doesn’t put a dent in your wallet, then the Atturo ST200 is something that can be on your purchase list. The tire is offered at a more affordable price than many of its competitors and still manages to provide better directional stability and confident tracking. The noise levels of the tire remain in control if you compare it with other competing choices available. Likewise, the wet weather performance of the tire is very impressive. That being said, the tire isn’t the best choice for use in extreme winter weather conditions and also isn’t covered by any limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

The Atturo ST200 competes against other trailer tires like Carlisle Radial Trail HD, Gladiator QR25- TS Trailer, Trailer King RST, Power King Towmax STR II, GT Radial Maxmiler ST, Hankook Vantra Trailer (ST01), Greenball Towmaster ASC, Goodyear Endurance, Lexani LXST-105, Kenda Karrier, and Deestone D901.
