Not a happy yoko owner.
Feathered terribly and became noisy despite 5k rotations and an alignment at installation. Like all tires with high tread wear ratings, dry traction is compromised. With a 140hp 3k lb station wagon, I wasn't concerned at purchase about dry traction but it became obnoxious. It seems like I'm constantly backing off of the throttle to not spin in the dry and hydroplaning is not uncommon. (I ook off dealer installed Kumhos) At the price point they are at, they were a let down. Then the potholes in Kansas broke a cord in one, bubbled another, and slashed a third. None of those three are the fault of the tire. 20k miles and they were a disappointment before the damage. I've been disappointed with tread life on Contis but it's way worse to have tires that are never that good. There are tires at 1/2 this price that work as well. Cheap tires are better than they used to be and big brands are lowering their quality to compete. I have a number of cars and would not choose it again if I wasn't matching what was on the car.
