Features and Benefits
Highway all-season tires focus on durability, a quiet ride, and stability for long highway travel. They feature robust construction and tread patterns optimized for dependable traction and braking on dry and wet roads, offering year-round performance in different driving conditions. The General Grabber HTS60 possesses most of the traits to qualify for an ideal highway all-season tire; let’s have a look at its features and their corresponding benefits:
- Optimum durability: Backed by Duragen Technology featuring ultra-high strength steel belts and robust compound, the Grabber HTS60 is resistant to cuts, chips, and punctures, leading to a long service life and high resilience for light truck and SUV applications.
- Longer service life: Utilizing StabiliTread Technology, the General highway tires promote uniform wear by distributing driving pressure evenly, preventing irregular wear patterns, and maintaining stability throughout the tire's life. Additionally, a wider, flatter footprint and optimized stiffness promote even wear that prolongs its service life.
- Enhanced ride comfort: Backed by Comfort Balance Technology that utilizes sound barrier ribs and a cushioning layer, the Grabber HTS60 effectively absorbs road vibrations and minimizes road noise, ensuring a quiet, smooth, and relaxed driving experience, especially on long highway runs.
- Reliable year-round traction: With a symmetric tread pattern, the wide circumferential grooves and siping of the General highway tire work together to quickly evacuate water and slush from the contact patch, dramatically minimizing the risk of hydroplaning. Additionally, full-depth sipes extend deep into the tread to provide biting edges for traction on wet roads and light snow, with performance that lasts as the tire wears down.
The General Grabber HTS60 is available in a variety of tire sizes, including 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 22 inches.

Have them on both ours and our daughters SUV and feel confident in their overall performance to not worry about their performance.
These tires mostly saw a mixture of, towing other vehicles by trailer down the highway, and mild offroading with very little time in the snow. Overall I'm impressed with the abuse these tires can take from loads on the edge of being too heavy and then getting thrashed and aired down slightly at times. Treadware has been very consistent and they've handled rocks and grease woods almost as good as my old KO2s. The tires still at their age and mileage are not noisy at all and they still are trustworthy. It still gets below freezing in my area during winter and these tires handled it greatly even when spirited driving with an empty bed on cold tires. Replacing the current set due to age and a grease wood puncturing the sidewall. Most likely will buy these again from simpletire this time around.
I would buy these tires again.
Excellent tires for Honda Pilot - also great experience on Simpltire.
Bought a set of these a for a different truck. They're fantastic. Very versatile. Really great in all conditions. I was driving home from Pennsylvania in the fall and got caught in that crazy flash snow storm that shut down Buffalo a couple years ago. I was extremely worried since they were "highway tires" but I had zero problems. Of course I was using 4 wheel drive as well but I was blown away. Just purchased another truck and there was no question what rubber was going on them..
Tires run smooth and true. I feel safe driving in the rain again.
