                    Founded in Japan in 1983, Falken Tires was introduced to North America in 1985 as the high-performance brand of Sumitomo Rubber Industries. A tire brand with a cult following, Falken's reputation is built on motorsports, especially through King of the Hammers, Red Bull Air Race, Alms Petit Le Mans, Formula Drift and endurance races like the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
