2012 Ford Mustang Tires

These tires were on our used 2012 Mustang V6 Convertible we purchased 9 months ago. They were a brand-new set of tires. At first, I was worried because they seemed like a generic Chinese brand tire. However, we have been happy with them. They are very quiet (since we have a convertible tire noise would be very noticeable) and ride remarkably well. We get good gas mileage (25mpg overall). They are pretty good in the dry for not being a higher speed rated summer tire. Not a high-performance tire but more of a day-to-day cruising tire. We drove through a terrible rainstorm the other day and was amazed how well they did in the rain on our 305hp rear drive Mustang. They don't look like they would be good in the snow, but our car is stored in winter so no worries for us. Overall, a very nice tire for the money. Recommended.

I honestly purchased these cheap set of tires for the sole purpose to get me through the end of winter with intensions to going back to my summer set. I must say I'm very impressed though. I am currently still running them on my S197 and really have had zero complaints. Ride quality is nice wet or dry. I've been running them for over 5,000 miles now and tread still looks almost new! I would recommend Crosswinds as a cheap option for anyone!

I put 275/40/18 on a Mustang GT for a cheap summer set up. I use the car for daily driving, road trips, and some occasional enthusiastic driving. These tires perform just fine on dry roads and give a quality ride for everyday driving. There's enough grip to do some fun driving and not be disappointed, but these are certainly not track worthy tires. They are also fine for wet roads and perform as you would want a decent tire to do in inclement wet weather. I would not recommend these tires for winter. Just get a dedicated winter set with all the money you saved on these! Wear has been even (with regular rotations and balance) and I have no build quality complaints. Overall, a quality affordable tire that I would buy again.
