A newer tire type, all-weather tires blend the wet and dry traction of all-season tires with the improved grip on icy, slushy, and snowy roads of winter tires for true year-round traction. Consider the Toyo Celsius Sport, which is an ultra-high-performance all-weather tire that's built for use on high-performance luxury cars, CUVs, and SUVs like the Audi Q7, BMW X6, Jaguar F-Pace, and Porsche Panamera. Dense siping works with zigzag tread blocks inside of the tread for strong grip in ice, slush, and snow, and the Celsius Sport's interlocking multi-wave sipes on the outside of the tread bite into the road to improve traction on wet and dry roads. A silica-based rubber compound keeps the tire flexible for consistent performance in dry, wet, and moderate to severe winter weather conditions, and the Celsius Sport also utilizes a stiff sidewall, high tensile steel belts, and a hard bead filler to increase handling and steering response. Wide grooves and traction bars funnel water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning while also biting into the road to improve traction in snowy and slushy conditions, and the Celsius Sport's casing construction evenly distributes road pressure during accelerating, braking, and cornering to improve performance and reduce uneven wear for a longer tread life.
