For my performance cars I like the Continental Extreme Contact, Nitto 555, and of course the Michelin Pilot and Goodyear F1's (Don't buy these to get tread wear). For my Caddy DTS I wanted smooth comfortable quiet tires with a good tread wear rating. It's a straight line car. After I had these Pirelli's mounted I drove it up the freeway about 15 miles and if I would have closed my eyes I wouldn't have known I was moving. Fantastic cruising shoes. All Pirelli said they'd be. Handling on the highway and around town is pretty darn good too. The tires I replaced were Goodyear LS original factory equipment with 40K on them. Would have bought them to replace but 17 inch aren't made anymore. And they're $400 tires. If you want smooth quiet tires for a touring car you can't go wrong with these Pirelli's.

Features and Benefits
Pirelli likes to stay ahead of the game when it comes to features and benefits with their all-season tires. The P7 All Season Plus 3 is designed for enhanced ride comfort and lower noise along with consistent traction even in light winter conditions.
- Functionalized polymer tread compound generates better traction and delivers longer wear
- Asymmetric tread pattern for great traction in wet or dry conditions, along with superb handling properties
- Void space in the tread pattern is kept to a minimum for best rubber-to-road contact
- Larger, sequence-tuned tread blocks help cancel road noise while simultaneously improving dry-weather handling
- Grooves and channels are equally distributed and work in unison to remove water from the tire’s contact patch and resist hydroplaning tendencies
- Full-depth and 3D sipes in vertical, horizontal, and zigzag patterns all provide hundreds of extra biting edges for consistent traction in snow, slush and rain
- Twin steel belts, two-ply polyester casing, and two polyamide cap plies boost durability
- Backed by a 70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty

SimpleTire’s view on Pirelli P7 All Season Plus 3 tires
At SimpleTire, we’ve learned to set the bar pretty high when it comes to Pirelli products, and the P7 All Season Plus 3 is no exception. The P7 All Season Plus 3 delivers a quiet ride with touring tire-like comfort for coupes, sedans, and minivans, making it a great choice for long-haul trips on the interstate. It offers precise, predictable handling and steering response with great road manners, and better-than-average traction in light winter conditions (a situation where, admittedly, a lot of all-season tires fall short).
The P7 All Season Plus 3 might be a bit pricier, but the 70,000 mile warranty can help ease the pain and give you the peace of mind of knowing that you’ve got a tire that can last for the rest of the life of your vehicle (if your truck’s already a few years old, that is).
Vehicles the Pirelli P7 All Season Plus 3 is a good replacement tire for

No tire Noise they ride so smooth! Would definitely recommend them!
This is my second set of Pirelli tires on my optima sx, have been well pleased with both the Cinturato and these new P7 tires. Both have excellent dry traction, great cornering ability, and quiet ride. These P7, being new, feel much tighter to the road than the older Cinturato, I had 52,000 on the Cinturato, with good tread left, but felt the wet traction was slipping. I have not had heavy rain yet to judge wet performance of these P7, but expect satisfactory performance. Overall, these tires provide spirited handling, quiet ride, secure footing, and long life.
Only 3000 miles in, but these tires are remarkable. Very responsive, very stable, and very quiet on my X3. Hopefully they'll hold up to 50k or better with tread life. Fuel efficiency seems better than the stock run flats. Absolutely no complaints. The Simple Tire staff exceeded my purchasing expectations, when compared to the other large scale on-line tire websites. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great tire buying experience.
