2011 Honda Cr V Tires

Based on the Civic platform, the Honda CR-V is a crossover SUV that’s been around since the mid-1990s. The CR-V was in its fourth generation by 2011, and was powered by a 185 horsepower 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that was hooked up to a CVT transmission. The CR-V is a favorite among Honda drivers, with millions on the road. Front wheel drive versions are rated at 23 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. 2011 Honda CR-V tires could be 225/65R17 or 215/70R16, and a brand new 2011 CR-V might’ve left the factory with a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport AS or Continental CrossContact LX tires attached.

Great tires

Maximum traction in winter close to snow tire.. yes I have fwd CRV but in thicker snow or icy conditions the all season wasn't cutting it with slippage. Plus this being at tire and xl rating side wall I have comfort of mind of more heavy duty with winter time and snow banks etc.. must have!! Great value budget price but good quality tire.

Better than an AT, but an inferior WT

This Hankook looks like a serious dedicated winter tires, but from experience looks are deceiving and it feels more like a very good All-Terrain tire rather than a dedicated Winter Tire. I blame this on a stiffer rubber compound than competitors like Blizzaks, so the upside is these RW11s have better wear and a longer life, but they don't perform as well, specifically on ice. The stiping compensates for the stiffer rubber well in powder or packed snow, but where this tire falters is on ice, on ice it feels like a very good AT, it's acceptable, but not excellent like my Blizzaks. Also, I find this tire does worse with slush or deep water compared to Blizzaks, but it's not as significant a gap as the ice. For someone with intermittent winters these are a great option because you won't chew them up so bad on pavement days, but if you're reliably driving on snowy roads for weeks at a time there are much better options.

Best Budget tires for Dry & Wet conditions

Had these tires on Honda CRV-2011 for about 45 days. Driven in all 3 conditions: "Dry", 'Wet" & "Snow". Does good job in Dry & wet conditions. Stay away if you live in Midwest US as these tires tend to slip in even mild snow conditions. Tires are quite and gas mileage has improved ( seeing about 2 miles improvement compared to old "BGGoodrick Advantage control" ) .
