I bought a set of 285x75R18s for my F-150. I typically run BFG AT TA/KOs but due to several circumstances I was not able to get these tires. I put nearly 8,000 dry miles on the Open Countrys and they were fine on dry pavement and dirt. they are a little loud and have a hard ride but you would expect this from a 10 ply tire. where I found this tire lacking was in the snow. It was as if I was on skates. I hated them so much I actually got rid of them at a loss to get a real snow tire that would handle the winter conditions of the mountains around Portland.

I've had these tires for 30,000 miles now and the tread is still strong. I'm impressed with how well these tires are built. I have hit curbs, braked hard, ran over nails/other road hazards & most importantly had good traction in snow. These tires seem to grip the road well especially in wet conditions. I think the deeper the snow the better they perform. They are fairly quiet and provide a solid ride. I will be hard pressed to buy another brand, & it would take a lot for me to do so. They look great on my truck. I highly recommend these tires. The next set of tires I buy will be Toyo. I believe in "you get what you pay for." With these you get solid, reliable tires. Plus it also helps the dealer I bought them from is very friendly.

Rated at 65K miles, I have just about 70K on this set of 305x55x20 Open Country AT II tires and still have good tread left. They are surprisingly quiet for a wide tire. The wear is outstanding and rotate them every 3,500 miles. The only drawback I have noted is in the rain, they seem to slip more than you would think when starting off, but how often does it rain in Arizona? Other than that, the tires are awesome and will be ordering another set very soon. Good job Toyo!

Put these on with about 44,000 miles on my truck and now have 120,000 with several more thousand to go. The only flat I've had was due to a 6 penny nail that would have punctured steel. I'll keep buying these as long as you keep manufacturing them!

I love these tires they are great in all kinds of sloppy weather. I will continue to put them on my ram 2500 cummins. I had the tires for about 2500 miles before I moved from the West coast to the East coast. I have to say I am not impressed with the tread life while towing heavy loads. I pulled at trailer weighing about 13k lbs for the 4k mile journey across country. I rotated the tires before I started the journey and after the journey the rear tires had lost more tread than I thought they would. There is plenty of life left in the tires. Just not ideal if you are towing heavy loads long distances. Since I do not tow like that all the time this set of tires should last through the warranty toyo provides. These tires had great traction in everything from rain to ice, up and down hills on the trip. Overall I am pleased with the tires. I will definitely be putting another set on my truck when these are worn out.

I am on my 4th set of AT II tires (3 sets on my old truck and 1 on my latest). This is the best all-round tire I have found. While they aren't the quietest tires out there, they perform flawlessly and that is why I keep buying them. From chasing the Baja 1000, hauling a toy hauler, to plowing snow, these tires have held up to everything that I have ever thrown at them...not even a flat chasing the 1000!

1st set of Toyos ever, saw good reviews, figured I'd try them on new-to-me truck after running 3 sets of Cooper AT3s on old 2wd F250 diesel. I'd say they compare favorably overall. Over 30k miles so far, should be good for another 15-20k by the looks of 'em. They go straight down the road, no more noise than the AT3s which I didn't think were noisy at all. Stand up to my 10,000 lb 5th wheel alright, even driving on crushed rock private roads at New Mexico ranch have had no flats (none with AT3s either). Got me out of a mudhole ok when I wandered off too far into buddies yard and hit a soggy spot where they had recently done some septic work. Go down the road at 80 mph in the rain just fine. Not bad in the snow, but not great either. This truck is my daily driver, I do not go looking for trouble, and if I want to climb a mountain I don't really need to, I'll get the wife's Jeep Wrangler out, but these tires have done what I expected of them, and I've only rotated and rebalanced once in the 30,000 miles so far. 1 tire wore a little funny after a track bar bushing went out, but that is expected and it is wearing back down to normal after swapping to rear 2,000 miles ago. I think these tires are as good a value as any I have ever owned. I have LT265/70/17s in E rating and GPS has confirmed they'll do the job at 100 mph unloaded.

My first set of Open Country AT II's lasted on my 2011 F250 for 56,000 miles down to the wear bars, and still had very good wet grip right up until they were replaced in September prior to the snow coming. Snow traction was impressive throughout their life. The impressive treadwear on that first set led me to not think twice about another set of the exact same tire and size, on the same truck. However, the current set has only 15,000 miles and only has 7/32 tread remaining, so it looks like I'm barely going to make it to 30,000 miles before hitting the wear bars on this set. Traction, sidewall stiffness still excellent on this set, but VERY disappointed in treadwear after raving to everyone about my first set. Not sure I want to spend the money on another set of these when it's time to replace them. It certainly seems like something was changed on these tires with regards to treadwear. Driving style and roads are the same or similar between both sets of tires. I checked "Yes, I recommend this product" because of the traction in all conditions, including snow, and for the excellent sidewall stiffness, but I am not pleased with the treadwear.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Toyo tires. Run M/T's on my Jeep and have used AT's on my trucks for many years. I loved the original AT tire which was just awesome but this AT II is not a good tire. I downgraded from the original AT's (355/60/R20) to AT II's (35x12.5x20) on my F250 Superduty and what a big mistake. I went to a smaller tire to compensate for the lift on the truck so my 5th wheel RV runs level. Without a load on the truck there is very little directional stability, the truck is loose (sideways movement) and the front end wanders. Under load, pulling a 12, 0000 pound 5th wheel it feels better but you have to keep your eyes on the road as it still has a tendency to wander. This tire handles like a M/T does and may be better suited for smaller pickups. It is also noisy and "hums" on the road much more than the original AT's. Where the original AT gets 5 stars in all categories for me this tire gets a 2

First 2 Sets of Toyos were 35/12.50R-20 on 3/4 Dodge got over 60,000 miles on both sets with air set at 45 psi for fronts and 40 for rear. Rotated them on or around 6,000 miles each time. Loved them dearly best Tire and best Mileage I have ever gotten out of Mud Terrians. They got noisey when the tread was down to 4/32 remaining, but I got another 3,000 out of them. First set of A/T II's and now I'm sporting LT275/65 R-20 and they are Awesome: needed more weight carrying Tire so I went this route! Great Ride, Smooth handling even in gravel. Trailer does not slow these tires down: got 12,000 miles on them and they are wearing great no cupping or uneven wear. Have air pressure set a little higher on these since I tow my trailer more often 55 psi front and 40 psi in rear. They are rated for 80 psi but dont want to thin out the middle tread. No complaints from me about Toyos Quality of Tire! Sold them for 15 years and now Im the customer for life. Thanks

I just replaced my 35 x 12,50 x 17 Toyo AT II with another set of the same. These tires were on a 2010 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon with a 2.5" Rough Country suspension lift. As the tires aged, they got slightly louder on the highway, but NEVER were they loud. They were AVERAGE PLUS in the snow and EXCELLENT in everything offroad except deep mud. DUH!. OK, I honestly have 61,000 miles on these tires....AND I moved them to my 2005 Ram 2500 4x4.. I will, with out question, get another 6,000 miles EZ !! I am truly amazed at how good these tires have lasted... buy them!! BuY ThEM... BUY THEM... you won't be disappointed.

I recently had a level lift kit installed on my low mileage 2007 F-150 Lariat 4x4. After the install, the ride was rough. I intially thought the ride issue was due to the level kit and the new struts and shocks. However, the rough ride was the result of less than adequate tires. I installed LT295 / 55R20 Open Country AT II's on the truck and the ride improved 100%!!! Quality matters - Open Country AT II's are oustanding tires!!!

It's the best tire I've ever owned. The performance, handling, durability, tread life and good looks is exceptional. I ran the 355x70x17 on my F250 Superduty 4x4 for over 5 years. Great on an off-road performance with exceptional reliability and comfort. I would recommend this tire to anyone. I only wish Toyo wouldn't have discontinued the above tire size in this model tire.

I have these on 2 trucks. A 2015 Ram 2500 Gas 4x4, and a 2017 Ram 3500 SRW Diesel 4x4. The 2500 has bout 10k o them and they are almost 3/4 worn. Not impressed. Had them on for 1 snowstorm plowing and was almost scared to drive the truck, switched to snow tires the next day. On road performance is fine but snow/ice is terrible. I hope I see more life out of the 3500 because that truck only tows and light city driving. The 2500 is the farm/work truck and sees more abuse.

I flew half way across the US to Idaho to pick up my brand new RAM Rebel and drove it 2000 miles home through Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. I encountered nearly every winter road condition imaginable! From mountains roads to vast open plains. Ice, snow, slush, water and freezing temperatures to mention a few. I drove past 70+ cars in the ditches along the way due to these weather conditions. Of course I was tense along the way but the tires never once gave me a slip or any reason for concern. I am pretty sure the Open Country A/T's can drive through anything! Without worry. I highly recommend these tires. And a special Thank You! goes out to Toyo Tires for making such a reliable and dependable product. The roads are dangerous these days and Toyo put quality where it counts the most!

I Purchased a set of these "235/85/16" based on reviews and the company stats. The tires worked good until the winter weather came. I live in the Mountains in Montana, an area that is worse than the Average mountain terrain and totally nu-like the advertisements you see on TV bragging tires and 4x4 vehicles on flat surface road with a skiff of snow. our first snow came and went quickly but left behind Mud, but out came my Tire Chains because I was stuck I have a 1984 F250 4x4 Manual Trans Diesel. it was like my truck had Ice Skates on, the tires packed with mud and I was done. then the Snow came we had 6 inches of slightly wet snow, I tried to turn around from the road up a 6" - 10" hill and I had to chain up again, my truck was wearing ICE Skates. Out comes the Tire Chains again. these Tires are good on the Highway in rain and slick roads but keep them on the highway or you will be very unhappy, oh and make sure you have your tire chains. I am confused why TOYO would name these Tires "Open Country A/T" when they should be called--- Open Highway Wet or Dry.. I would love TOYO to come to my place and test their tires.

Aggressive looks, great wear. Changed out my first set after 45000 miles. Still had plenty of tread, I only changed out to go to a taller tire. Was concerned about wear due to being a heavy truck but the tires did great. I rotated them with every oil change. I liked them so much I bought the same set in a 35 1250 18.

I have this tire in LT235/85/16 on a regular-cab 2002 Tacoma. I use the truck mostly for recreational four-wheeling in northern Utah. These tires have very durable sidewalls and terrific dry-terrain traction, especially on rocks. I've driven a lot of rocky terrain in the three months I've had these tires, and the sidewalls are still pristine. There's been minor tread chunking, but not nearly as much as with the two sets of DuraTracs I had previously. The Toyo does not perform as well in mud as the DuraTracs, which is not surprising given the more open tread design of the DuraTracs. I have not yet driven the Toyos in snow. I expect they will do fine, but perhaps not quite as well as the DuraTracs. Wet traction (rain) on pavement is very good but not outstanding. These tires have a slightly better ride and are quieter than the DuraTracs. Overall I'm very satisfied with these tires.

Second set on this truck. 55000 miles on first set and still had 5/32 tread when I changed them and this is a 2500 series truck. first set was 285/70r17 this kind of miles not the norm in a E rated tire of this size. I almost feel bad about changing them so soon, but got a good deal on some 285/75r17's and decided to upgrade. Thanks TOYO, just buy them, I know what you will buy the next time if you do.

Even though I do not go off road, this tire has handled any rain or snow Mother Nature has thrown at me. Standing water no issue. By far best tire for the money, you can not go wrong with these tires.

The only thing I can knock them for is fuel mileage which is to be expected as I went from mild tread 285 AT tires to a much wider 305's with much more aggressive tread (XT's). The surprise was that they didn't ride, handle or sound like what they are. Surprisingly quiet and smooth for such an aggressive tread design. So far I'm at about 4 years and 45k miles and while they're pretty worn now, they still perform great. I'm very rough on tires. I would be considered an aggressive driver and the truck makes enough power to be really hard on tires. Next set I may be going back to a 285's for fuel mileage but these are definitely first on the list.

I have only had them up to 100 mph a couple of times for a very short time. I highly recommend a set of these tires to anyone who wants a quiet ride on the road and no worries off-road.

I removed the tires at 94k when they were just about bald. I cant complain one bit about he tires. They ride great and are quiet. Off road muddy and slick conditions they do well for a all terrain tire and can get you out of sticky situations. I highly recommend these tires to anyone who does alot of driving and wonders off road from time to time. Worth every penny

I purchased these tires several months ago. Noticed that they felt stiff and it seemed the tire was hard. I have had Toyo MT's before and was very impressed! I had hoped that the AT's would would perform as well in normal day to day driving, they do not. The tires are quiet and performed well enough on the road, they seemed to balance well. First indication I might have an issue was in the rain. The tires weren't terrible, but they certainly let you know you had to be easy with them. Light offroad use the tire performed adequately. I Finally had the opportunity to try these tires out in the snow... I can't think of another tire I have ever owned that performed this poorly. In 5" of powdery snow I was worried about making it home! After less than 7000 miles, I have to get rid of them, I would much rather have traction for 40000 miles than a warranty for 65000.

I have 13,500 miles on these tires and they are over half Warren And I drive like an old lady. Traction in snow, sand, light mud, and rain is horrible I rotat, balance and have had two 4 wheel alignments with in that milage. Not good for spending a $1000 on tires. I also have the proxy ll on my other vehicle and there just as bad.

I bought these tires a year ago because i liked the looks of them over other ATs. We got some snow and ice shortly after i got hem and they pulled great. They clean out really wheel in mud. They have a nice HUM going down the road. It gets to a certain point and does not get any louder after that point.

LT285/75R17's on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. These tires have been great off road tires in mud, and snow. Ride the trails a lot in NC and do much better than some of the other rigs I ride with. Not quite as much traction in the creeks and rocks but still not bad. Did very well in 10+ inches of snow on rough mountainous trails. Very smooth ride on the road. Noise is minimal, can still carry on a conversation and listen to music with little interference. It is an off road tire though. Got close to 8K miles on them and barely can tell any tread wear. I highly recommend these tires if your looking for a good balance of on and off road performance.

I am on my second set of these tires for a different vehicle. These tires are impressive and I have compared them to several other tires on different vehicles I have owned. I will continue to buy these as long as Toyo keeps up the quality. I have had them on a lifted Ford F150 (35" on stock wheels) and a Suburban which greatly improved the handling and all weather traction. I plan on putting them on my Grand Cherokee next.

At about 50% tread life three of four tires developed bulges in the tread due to belt separation. Fortunately I had purchased a tire warranty. Almost all of the driving was highway, very little off road and no severe or rocky terrain.

I put a set of these on a 2013 Silverado Z71 and was beyond satisfied. Overall road handling on dry pavement and in rain was solid. Since I had the 5.3L V8 I couldn't notice a difference in acceleration and considering the overall weight of the truck, braking was comparable to the stock tires. This past winter North Carolina experienced 3 significant snow storms and these tires met the challenge head-on. Incredible traction in both light and deep snow and they never lost their bite. The highway ride was quiet and comfortable and the road noise was much less than the aging stock bridgestones. However, at speeds around 70-75 mph, they felt a little "squirrely"; for lack of a better term. I found that at higher speeds the handling began to diminish. But, at speeds like 50-65 mph they handled fine. Considering the aggressive tread pattern and heavy duty construction, these tires are most likely best suited for moderate speeds and off road. Overall I was very satisfied with these tires and would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid set of truck tires that look mean. I now own a 4 Runner and when the tires need replacing, they'll be replaced with Toyo Open Country AT IIs.

On my 02 Trooper Ive ran 2 sets of Firestone Destination LE, a set of Michelin LTX MS and now the Open Country AT2 and extremely pleased so far. I was going to run the HT but when I saw the AT2 I had to have them. I had them installed just over a year ago and no issues. There's a little road noise but what can you expect when going from a HT to an AT. They've got right at 15k miles on them and I haven't balanced them since the day they were put on and have no vibrations. Once I got them and my fiance saw them she had to have them so now she's got a set on her 08 Toyota UrbanRunner and loves them as well. She loves them probably more than I do and I must say hers to make road noise and they're 18's! Tread looks great and I'm sure Ill get the 65k miles on them. They come with 12.9 32nds and right now I'm at 9.5 32nds so I'm right on course. Well worth the money, right there in the same range as Nitto TerraGrapplers, but a better looking tire with a mileage warranty.

I have to say that the Toyo AT2's are by far the best all-around tire I have ever purchased… period! They look great and rugged. I have 50K miles on mine (over 2 years) so far and plenty of tread to go. We have taken 2 family trips across the country and the tires have seen mud, snow, sand dunes, river crossings, Moab, Jeep Trails and endless miles of road between Florida and the Rocky Mountains. I run 285/70r17's on my Yukon XL 4x4 and they haven't let me down yet. I will definitely purchase these tires for my wife's new Sequoia as well as any future SUV tire needs! You can't go wrong. Don't second guess, just buy them. Worth every penny!

I purchased this tire for my Jeep Wrangler. I am a college student and do quite a bit of highway driving along with daily commuting. I have put a little over 40,000 miles on this tire and rotated it close to every 6,000 miles. This tire handles decent in off-road conditions, above average in snow and has almost little to no road noise. My biggest downfall with this tire is in wet conditions. I find myself hydroplaning more than with my 2 previous sets of tires. I recommend this tire for anyone with a small SUV or Jeep that doesn't go off-road often and may do a bit of traveling. If you're looking for a tire with the semi-aggressive tread pattern look this would be your tire.

I've had the LT 275/65R20 10-ply for approximately 3 years and I'm at 75,000 miles. I have 6/32 tread left, but I religiously rotated and balanced them every 5,000 miles. I also conducted daily air checks (manual) as well as watching the TPMS onboard. I kept 40psi, and it worked for me. Road noise was good for AT tires, but I did notice slightly longer breaking over the Michelin LTX M/S. I've had better ATs off-road but these were not bad for the fire cuts in Georgia or the 2-tracks in Michigan. About 75% highway and 25% off-road. I have no complaints with snow, ice, and wet traction, but these are AT....so they are ok at everything. There are better tires for ice, deep snow or lots of wet driving. Overall they are very good and I would recommend them.

Great tire, but not for everyday use unless on dirt, sand, or mud, in which I would have chosen a different tire.

I put these tires on my 2006 Toyota Tundra because I bought the truck used and it had the Toyo OC ATs and I have been really impressed so far. I have put around 6,000 miles on them from driving the interstates to driving in the mud. They seem to do well in the mud except that they can get clogged with mud but that happens with all the tires that we have due to the type of mud. I haven't driven in the snow with them so I can't say that they are good or bad in the snow. My only issue with the tires is that there is a light hum with them but not a big issue and they kinda have a little wiggle in sharp turns but still not a big deal to me.

When they first presented to me by a company down in San Antonio, TX. I was kind of skeptical on wether they would hold up to what I wanted. Don't get me wrong it has to be a great tire other wise it would have been pulled of the market already. Looking in really deeply across the internet Hercules or Nitto, but I went back two weeks later still persisting, telling me this is the tire that ousts every other company, leading them. So finally they set up an appointment to put a lift kit with these tires among them in 32". When I first saw my Frontier, you could see the happiness on my face. It brought out the kid in me, rolling around a jacked up toy just like everyone else. we shook hands & off I go to test these bad boys out in austin drifted & caught immediately especially it was raining. Then someone cut me off nearly ending my ride in my truck. They stopped right right before the person slowed down. All I can say is that these tires WILL!!! & I mean it! speak for themselves.

Less than 500 miles on this set and I know I made a mistake. Just not a tire that works well on the road and in the field. Too much wear and noise on the road and NO traction in the field. For its size is a very heavy tire and causes problem with braking. Toyo did a better job with the R/Ts but they have them priced as high as the M/T - but you get what you pay for. The A/Ts - do not buy. Get the M/T or R/Ts - they are a few dollars between them and you will be happier. The only good thing about the A/Ts are the price and gas mileage.

I am running these tires on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery II, they aren't abused by any means, but have seen a lot of light to moderate off-road and quite a bit of in town and highway time in the 1 year that I've had them on. The ride is surprisingly quiet and comfortable on road and off. I've haven't had any issues getting traction in the snow, mud, or in any other terrain that I have attempted to take them across. When these wear, I will definitely purchase another set and I highly recommend them! Fantastic all around tire, with a good aggressive, but not obnoxious, look.

I always struggle to put tires on my truck (Ram 3500 Dually), I live on a farm with some very slippery soil, yet I do a lot of highway driving and plenty of towing. I have the AT2 Extreme (285/75/17, LOVE the tall skinny tire for us dually guys!). They make a little noise on the highway, but they are nearly as aggressive as some mud terrain tires I have seen. What is amazing is both the wet and dry traction, tire technology is very impressive these days! Based on the current mileage, I expect to see 40-50K out of these tires, which is impressive given they have a rough life! I will absolutely buy another set when these wear out.

This would be the best tire ever if you live in the plains. The only thing I dislike about this tire is the sidewall are not stiff enough, driving on curvy roads is not fun, the tire fells like it is rolling over on every turn. Note I upgraded my entire front end (idler and pitman arms ball joints and swaybar bushings)and shocks (KYB mono-max) before installing these tires, my suburban was one big go cart, I loved it. I could not even imagine trying to drive on curvy roads if I had old shocks. This is the best tire I've ever owned/driven in the snow and the ice, it eats up mud and loose rocky back road/trails, better have mud flaps. Going down the paved highway is very comfortable and surprisingly quite, you would think you were driving on Michelins highway tread tires. In short if you live in the flats you will love this tire, if you live in the mountains get a set of cooper atr - they won't last as long but you will feel safe driving them. Hope this helps I have over 10,000 miles on this set of tires, I live in Colorado and enjoy hunting and the outdoors and end up driving in all sorts of on/off road conditions.

I've ridden on the A/T IIs for almost a year now, and put about 10,000 miles on them so far. They still look as great and fresh as the day I got them! I've taken them through deep sand and whoop sections in the desert at 35 psi and had a wonderful experience. Never got stuck, never needed a recovery. I have yet to see how they do in mud, but I will say this – a couple of screws found their way into one of the tires' tread blocks pretty early on, and I didn't spot them for quite some time. They were about a half-inch long, and they didn't do anything to the tire. The road noise on the A/T IIs is practically nonexistent, I get decent mileage, and I love the look of them on my SUV.

We purchased these tires for our 2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD Duramax pickup. We were looking for a 50,000 mile tire and this tire only has 22,000 miles on them and we will have to replace them within the next 5,000 miles. We are truly disappointed in these tires. From the time we bought these tires, no matter how we adjust the air in the tire, they DO NOT hold the road. Heaven forbid it should rain, then you can't even take off from a stop sign without the truck fishtailing all over the road. The tires wear very flat, but like I said, we only have 22,000 miles on them and we rotate them every 6,000 miles. I would NEVER recommend these to anyone. Highly disappointed considering the amount of money we paid for them.

Honestly, the beefy design is what drew me to the tire. But I'm forced to deal with noisiest tires I've ever owned. Noticeably louder at highway speeds on first day after install. Traction not fully tested yet but as with most aggressive tread designs you need to ease up on throttle on wet roads, especially while turning. If you like the off road look and performance in that environment you wont be disappointed.

I bought my 2014 Sierra and wanted some good looking offroad tires. I used to run Nitto tires on my other trucks but just wanted to try something different. So I bought these Open Country A/T II, these are an amazing set of tires. I have over 75K miles on these tires and had them checked the other day cause I figured it's about that time. They were surprised at the mileage on these tires and they said that these tires can probably still handle another 10k miles before buying new ones. I am going to try the Open Country R/T. can't wait to see how they handle. just not to thrilled about the tread warranty (45K miles) but we will see how they hold up.

I've put approximately 23k on these tires including my second winter. I love the look and feel of them on my truck, love the way they ride, but when it comes to grip on anything but a dry road, they leave a lot to be desired. I break traction on wet roads and are horrible in the winter. I would not buy these tires again for this reason.

Diesels are much harder on tires due to high torque. Have had them in my truck for over a year and have done good in all enviroments for me. I would put them on my truck again.

My brother loves the OC AT2's , as he is on his 4th set. He drives a good bit on the highway and has been getting 62-68k miles per set on his Ford F-250 Crew cab 4x4, great mileage for a heavy truck,. So, when it was time for tires on my F-350 dually, I bought a set. I noticed right away when leaving the tire shop that the truck seem "loose" or would "wander". After a afternoon of running around, they still didn't seem right. With the Toyo guarantee...buy them, try them....return them if you dont like them, I took them back. That said, the tire dealer did try to troubleshoot and was extremely willing to ensure 100% satisfaction and happily replaced them with another tire. I personally like the AT2's, I just don't think that they are meant for 1 ton trucks. So, Toyo if you can find away to stiffen up the sidewalls or correct the "wandering" or "loose" issue on 1 tons, you can win me back as a customer. The AT2's are great on 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks, but on 1 tons, the tires are not to my liking.

I got the LT tires on a 1500 Sierra. Since most people drive on-road 95% of the time, I'm only going to talk about my on-road experience. They ride a little bit rougher than stock but its worth not having to deal with flats. A few positives are that the treadwear is great, on-road handling is great for AT tire, and I can drive 75 mph in rain with confidence. A few minor problems I noticed is that when I apply 100% brake at 50mph they slide a little bit and at 95 mph they start vibrating. The main downsides are that once I got to about 60k the tires got louder and were at the wear bars. They would make it to 100k but I can't deal with the noise anymore. Even with the complaints, i do think the treadwear and handling is excellent on this tire. I already got a 2nd set waiting to be put on, and I'll probably try out the new toyo proxies st iii soon.

These are the best looking all terrain tires available. I was having a hard time deciding between a mud terrain and all terrain and I strongly recommend these tires to anyone looking for great all-around traction on and off road. I live a mile and a half from paved roads, and while it may not seem like 3 miles a day is a true test of a tire's capabilities I can tell you these tires have made a huge improvement to my ride. They are installed on a 2000 Excursion that regularly pulls enclosed trailers (up to 10,000 lbs.) and they perform flawlessly. My driveway is loose gravel and I use 4wd to move trailers around due to the grade and these tires have never let me down. I have had many other all terrain and mud terrain tires and I would honestly say these are the best ones I have owned. A little pricier than some of the ones I have used before but worth every penny. If they get even close to the tread wear advertised I will be really happy. The one thing I will note: they are not as quiet on the highway as some other all terrains I have owned. I don't really mind the noise but they sound very similar to my "trail" tires on my 2012 Ram. Both sets are 35x12.50. If you're on the fence about a good all around tire- buy these and never look back!

Bought a set of AT2 size, LT275/65/R20 for my F250 to replace a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S. I went with the factory size, 1) cost, 2) the tires are already big & 3) the size was NOT considered extreme (XT) tread. I have roughly 10K miles of wear. Quick comparison between the 2. Toyo is a better looking tire. Semi-aggressive look without the noise. Very impressed with little road noise. Still more noise than the goodyears. Have a set of older Toyo AT's on a 4Runner with lots of miles and they are noisy. The Toyo AT's have a noticeably softer tread & side wall than goodyear. With speed, truck will feel loose in a turn. Run my tires at 70+ psi, even wear, little cupping on outer tread in the front, cross rotate tires every 5K miles. A 3/4 truck and running high psi, the truck will dance on the road and especially on gravel roads. Overall I recommend the AT2 and I'm confident I can stretch 50K miles out of them.

Poor quality tire, 350 miles on tires and they cause the truck to vibrate alot. I can feel the vibration on the steering wheel and my seat. Had the tires balanced twice and a front end alignment completed when the tires were installed. I don't know if I can keep these tires on very much longer with all the vibration on the truck. The tires feel like running over side markers when your going off the round.

Brand new tires get flats really easy with/without weight in pick-up. They were suppose to be 10 ply. I have never had a tire have as many holes punched through as I have these brand new, on the gravel/dirt roads and driving through my back yard, not even off road! Unfortunately the price was right. I made the mistake twice for my truck thinking that it must have been a fluke, it was not! Full tred they did fine in the rain. I would not recommend these for heavy winter, such as in Montana, Idaho, or anywhere with heavy snow/icy roads. These are city tires only! Disappointed, I will never recommend any Toyo's again! I have been stranded too many times with these and on my spare!

These Tires replaced Old Toyo AT that had replaced BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO before that. Toyo AT/2 is by far the best AT tire I have owned. Best in Mud and loose gravel by far compared to BFG AT T/A and old Toyo AT in the same size, and quieter than both BFG rugged terrain and BFG T/A KO. I have abused these tires off road and they still are twice as quiet as the much smaller 245/65/17 BFG rugged terrain T/A tires on my Honda Pilot. I will never buy another Tire for my trucks. Well maybe a Toyo MT tire if I ever get my dream JK. This tire is great even in the claylike desert mud here in AZ. Goes through stuff as well as mud tires with excellent mud throwing ability. Besides being quiet on the road, this tire stops the truck like a beast. Get these tires and you will never buy another! *If you ever get through the treads that is.

I bought a set of these (275/65R 20) for my F-350 just after Christmas 2013 to replace the tired Mich LTX factory tires. I wanted something with more aggressive tread for the winter that could also carry the weight of a FW trailer. A month later I'm still scrambling to fix a "wandering" issue that popped up as a result. Really didn't notice this much on a 500-mile trip we took with the trailer the day after installation, but now back in town it's pretty bad on my 20-mi highway commute. I stopped at an alignment shop to see if anything could be tweaked & the owner took one look at the tires and said "there's your problem!". Apparently he put the same tires on his truck & had similar issues. Great. He did say he could adjust things a bit & replace the Ford steering joints with MOOG parts which may help, but basically I have to live with it. Other than the constant steering corrections the tires seem fine. Quiet, good traction, etc. I'll report back if the squirminess can be resolved!

As long as you was going straight with no weather the tires was ok, no really they was the worst tire ever owned. I put on a set of open county at 235/80/17 120/117 10p.r. I run alot of bulldozer roads in the mountains, rocks, and mud. Had 3 flats at the same time with the hankooks once.. I put around 5k on the truck every 3. To 4 weeks. I have not had in snow.or ice. Wet traction is great. Dry traction is exceptional. Mud is better than expected. They are not mud tires but perform very well. Mileage has suffered about 2mpg but the tires are taller than stock and heavier. Went as tall and skinny as I could to try to keep from sliding on mountain side's in the mud with the limited slip. I have 11,500 miles on them, cross rotate at 5000. Cannot measure any wear and no gouges from rocks. Impressed so far!!

I bought these for a 2006 f-150 that l lifted up. the next couple days after i put them on we got a lot of snow and rain up here in ND. and it made the dirt roads up here real messy and some of the best mudding I have ever done. These tires ate up everything. My buddy had his 1500 chevy with goodyear ATs on it and he got stuck and my truck plowed through it without even spinning the tires; walked right through everything. There is a slight noise at about 75 or so but it quieter than most ATs i have driven on. Does great in snow, mud, awesome traction in rain. Only have had them for about a 1000 miles but I love them. One of the best ATs I have ever used. When it comes down to traction these tires grab perfectly almost too much for words. You will not be disappointed with these tires. I usually run General AT2s (those are great tires too) but these will be def replacing them. The ONLY bad thing about them is they do not offer them in white letters. But that not a big deal.

I purchased these tires in a 35/12.5r18 after reading such stellar reviews on multiple forums. I was told these have extremely good offroad capabilities, are quiet, very smooth on the highway & just an amazing, too-good-to-be-true type of tire. Well, I think we all know about "too good to be true" claims. The treadwear is something I cannot comment on as I only kept them on the truck for about 750 to 1000 miles, testing them out. They still look brand new, so that's something, I guess. Just ignore the ratings as I truly cannot review a tire's wear at 1000 miles. The off road capability was fair at best. Mud would cake & not be ejected from the tire. 4" of mud would always result in getting pulled out by guys with older AT tires from other brands. That's embarrassing to say the least. I've off roaded with other brands & didn't experience this issue with their ATs. Breaking was extremely poor. The 18" version of this tire is a whopping 81 lbs. Not just breaking, but acceleration is also poor. I found myself having to break at a much greater distance than before, despite the claim that they really bite into the street & hold on. While accelerating in wet conditions, I found myself losing traction in the rear of my truck. Ride & comfort was abysmal. I have no idea who thinks these tires ride well. I feel every single expansion joint, pebble & stick in the road. I found myself swapping my stock (much smaller) tires back on my truck. Despite going back to a 265/70r17, the ride was more controlled & smooth. As others have said, you basically have to yell to have a conversation above 40 mph. I've been in trucks with MT tires that were quieter on the pavement. These tires seem to have been designed to create noise. I'm never buying another Toyo product. There's other companies who make better AT tires at lower prices that will last much longer than 65k miles that outrank these in each of the ratings. Seriously look into other brands & compare for your needs. I was seeking an AT tire that was well behaved on the road (quiet, smooth ride), but could also handle driving on flat property with some mud. They did not deliver on any single count.

These tires don't live up to price. Mainly drive freeways then the average dirt roads for camping. Poor snow performance Mud- don't even try Freeway- alright a little pushy in the rain. Tires went to 40k before the tire delaminated. These tires left me stranded with no other option then to by new tires. We'll how the customer service is on warranty.

The open country AT is available as an LT series tire with 6 ply rating, a LT series tire with 10 ply rating and a P metric tire. All have the same tread design. I've found the LT series in 6 ply rating to be the best tire. Great traction, good handling, and stiff sidewalls to handle occasional heavy loads. The 10 ply is hard and rides too harsh and the p metric tire doesn't handle heavy loads as well. I got over 80,000 Km on the 6 ply LT tires on my truck, which included a lot of gravel road miles.

I run these on my Ram, I have the 35x12.5xR18 Xtreme version and have nothing but good things to say about this tire. Coming from a set of Open Country MT's these new ATs are a huge improvement. Not as capable in the deep stuff as the mudders, but with that being said I haven't gotten stuck yet. They ride very well on the highway and have a pretty wicked "mean" side when you air them down and get them off-road. Living in CO these tires see everything from deep mud to I-25 traffic to 12" of snow; no matter what they seem to take anything you can throw at them. They also wear well, I have roughly 15,000 miles on them so far and they aren't showing any signs of wear. As long as you keep them rotated you should be good to go!

Bought 4 new Open Country AT P235/75R15 tires. Bought premium road hazard package. 2006 Jeep TJ. Since day one, had very bad shake/vibration between 60-70 MPH. Dealer road force balanced 3 times. I assumed the Toyos were top quality and replaced front bearing hubs, rotors and calipers (while I was at it). Also new drive shaft Universal Joints. No difference. Placed Jeep on 4 jackstands and began swapping tires on and off the rear axle. Found one tire (right) with a LOT of runout. You could actually see the tire wobble back and forth. Dealer replaced as factory defect. Jeep ran a little better, but shake returned a few miles later. I hadn't swap tested the front tires on jackstand until today (4wd). Found right front tire has .070" lateral runout and tread wobbles laterally. Tire also leans badly to one side unlike others which stand straight up. I replaced this tire with my Cooper spare and vibration all but went away. I looked back at the new replacement from the last problem and saw that tire also wobbling. Checked the runout and it was .060". Awful. I am very, very disappointed in these tires as my Son bragged they were top-line. I haven't experienced that and am worn down and broke from trying to resolve the issue. I wish a Toyo representative would just replace the 4 tires and have a shop check the runout of each tire (radial and lateral) as well as road force balance. My old Coopers had zero shake, wobble, or vibration. Dealer has been very awesome trying to make good on the purchase, but I am afraid I am now stuck with bad tires until they wear out or I just replace them. 1 wasted year and hundreds of dollars in troubleshooting cost due to trusting Toyo. Going back to Cooper. Avi Zamites, A&P IA

Still dig pretty good off road. Only issue is there starting to crack in the tread area. Looking now for a new set.

Put these 10 ply tires on my Toyota Tacoma. The shop said this tire was way way overkill for my truck as they were intended for 3/4ton work trucks and tried selling me the 6 ply. After racking up over 102k miles, they still have a fair amount of tread left even though its shallow. I will be replacing with the same tire. These tires work well everywhere. Dirt, snow, mud, pavement, gravel. Highly recommend them.

I'm on my second set of A/T II's and I am very satisfied with their performance. They have both balanced easily with little weight despite being heavy all terrain tires. They are certainly louder than highway oriented tires, but compared to other A/T tires, they are quieter than average. Traction is never a concern on or off-road with these tires in all but the most slick conditions, such as very icy roads. The ride is also very good with these tires. My one complaint is the weight. These are the heaviest of all of the comparable tires that I looked at which results in reduced fuel mileage, braking performance, and available power. To me, the compromise is worth it because of the superior traction, but if those things are more important to you than traction you may want to look for a different tire. If your needs require superior traction in very slick winter weather, you may want to supplement them with a set of winter tires, although I have never had the need to do so even living in a snowy area. I bought them twice so they can't be bad.

Off road handling and performance is adequate if you're not living off the beaten track and rock crawling....common sense with the design and purpose. Will definitely replace with same tires when the time comes.

The verdict has yet to be determined on the overall life of these tires, but it is the best day one tire I have ever put on one of my Jeeps or trucks. Truly impressed with the ride and comfort on the highway and it handled exceptionally well down at the river playing after work. These tires handle as good as they look and if they live up to the 65,000 miles, I'm sold for life. I hate winter, but I can't wait till the first snows come to try these out. Mud, silt, gravel and water they handled great and it's finally an off road tire that doesn't beat me up driving down the interstate. Tires are the Open Country AT2 285 60R18.

The negative reviews I've been seeing have been related to premature tread wear and winter weather performance. I am an employee of Toyo Tire and have nearly 8 years of experience, so hopefully this review will help to clarify some issues. First of all, regarding 3/4 ton and 1 ton pickups (especially high torque diesels) that do extensive towing; All terrain tires are not the best solution for this application, due to the fact that they have a higher rolling resistance and the tread compound is softer to help with off road performance. If you use your vehicle, primarily for towing over paved roads, then an all terrain tire isn't the best choice. I would recommend the Toyo Open Country H/T with Tuff Duty tire for those who haul heavy loads. As far a winter weather handling is concerned, I have personally experienced this tire on snow and ice and they perform quite well on snow. I don't know of any tire that is designed to grip an ice covered road, so if you have to drive on icy roads then use common sense and drive at slow enough pace to safely get where you need to go, but fast enough to keep momentum to avoid having to accelerate too quickly. I hope this review has been informative and thank you for taking the time to read it.

Bought these A/T II for my 2013 4Runner. LOVE THEM. I read a few reviews about loud noise at highway speeds but I don't agree. Yes its a bit louder compared to the stock bs radials my 4Runner came with but even going up to 285s/R17 from 265s/R17, I don't notice a big increase in road noise. Non-issue for me. The ride is very smooth and the tires don't feel squirrely in the corners or when braking hard. These are well worth the price for the ride comfort, aggressive tire look and reliability of a well built A/T style tire. I get a lot of thumbs up on my vehicle after the Pro-Comp lift and bigger Toyo A/T II tires I put on it. Only down-side to bigger tires: Decrease in MPG. I didn't buy my vehicle for the MPG anyway but the gas tank does drain a bit sooner... Regardless of this, I am still very happy with my purchase and would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their tires on their light truck. Awesome tires.

Recently purchased these after having Nitto Dura Grapplers. Wanted something a little more aggressive and thought a Toyo AT would fit the bill...I was wrong. These tires are very aggressive, similar to that of an MT. Lots of road noise as well, even above the sound of a cummins. Also noticed a rotational vibration, not about of balance issue. When hooked to a somewhat light trailer they felt very loose under the truck. I'm sure they work very well offroad though as they resemble a Super Swamper. I may have been a little spoiled with the Duras.

I just recently purchased these tires as replacement for the original tires that came from the factory on the Silverado. The Toyo Tires have been awesome so far for the first 500 miles. The tire is very quiet compared to the original Goodyear Eagle LS2s. Road manners and handling have been great as well when compared to the old tires. I'm anxious now to see how they'll handle the Minnesota Winter!

I just bought these friday for my 07' Tundra with 6" fabtech lift. i wanted something that rode better than the mickey thompsons i have had on the or the toyo mt's. i read reviews about these tires being bad in rain which concerned me a great deal because i live on the southern coast of texas where we get lots of rain. It was raining friday when i got them and honestly they seem to do great down here. i bought the 35x12.50x20 which the tread is supposed to be deeper than metric, maybe thats a diff? havent put enough miles to see how they wear or gone offroad.

I got the 305/70/17 size. These tires are awesome! They are quiet and smooth on the road. I have about 8,000 miles on them and have had zero problems with them so far. I took them in the mud at about 3,000 miles and they did awesome did not get stuck what so ever. The price on them were hard to beat too. They did great in the snow as well. I would buy these tires again!

This is my second set of Open Country AT2. My first set was on my 2005 F-150 and they were less than stellar off-road and didn't last long. This set I have for my GMC 2500 Ive had for 5 months and have put about 20,000 miles on and are about ready for a new set.I even rotated and balanced them every 5,000 miles. I am very dissatisfied with these tires this go around. Ive gotten stuck countless times in mud that shouldn't have been a problem for these tires. They have NOT lasted as long as I thought they would have. Im in the AG industry and do a lot of All Terrain driving and can't anymore due to the fact I can't afford to get stuck. The only thing these tires have going for them is that they are quiet and affordable. Thats it. This is definitely my last set of AT2s. If you plan on doing a lot off road driving in a 2500, 3500, F250,F350 I wouldn't suggest these unless you plan to stay on the pavement.

BOUGHT A SET OF THESE AFTER EXTENSIVE RESEARCH OF REVIEWS AND SIZES. FIGURED WE WOULD HAVE MORE SNOW LAST YEAR BUT MAYBE MORE THIS SEASON. TIRES DID VERY WELL IN THE LITTLE BIT OF SNOW SEEN SO FAR. PUT A SET OF 265/65/18'S ON IN PLACE OF THE FACTORY 255/55/18'S AND STILL HAD GOOD CLEARANCE IN WHEELWELLS OF MY 04 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. THE RIDE QUALITY ON THE ROAD IS FABULOUS, QUIET AND NO HYDROPLANING IN HEAVY RAIN. HAD IT IN THICK, CLAY TYPE MUD AFTER A HARD RAIN IN UPSTATE NEW YORK 8-10 INCHES DEEP CLIMBING A STEEP HILL IN A CLOSED SEASONAL ROAD. ABOUT A 30 DEGREE INCLINE AND TRIED TO LET THE TRACTION CONTROL TAKE OVER TO GET US UP THE HILL.1/4 WAY UPA 1/2 MILE INCLINE, WE SLID SIDEWAYS AND HUG-UP AGAINST A HILL ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE. AFTER PLAYING AROUND GENTLY FOR A FEW MINUTES AND NOT GETTING ANYWHERE, I HAMMERED THE THROTTLE AND WE PULLED RIGHT OUT AND THE REST OF THE WAY UP THE HILL. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED IF YOU KEEP THE MUD CLEARED OUT OF THE TREAD, YOU CAN GO ALMOST ANYWHERE WITH THESE TIRES! LOVE THEM!

Let me start by saying that I do not make a habit of writing reviews, but I make exceptions to that rule when something really stands out. I had these tires installed at the dealership, immediately after they unloaded it from the trailer. The odometer read 0.1 when they rolled it in the shop. As I parked in the office parking lot this morning and walked around the back of the truck, it was the first time in 3.5 years that I thought to myself, probably need to start looking at new tires. My ATs have 74k and some change on them and still have a good amount left before the treadwear indicator. They have been diligently rotated with every 7500 mile oil change. They've been through mud, ice, rain and Texas snow...never a single issue. I've pulled people out of ditches, pushed them up ramps on the ice, pulled heavy trailers, driven through tough terrain out on the farm and spent far too many of those miles in city traffic. Hands down, without question, these have been the best tires I have ever owned! I recommend them to everyone that asks my opinion and I stand behind them 1000%. I'm sad to see these reaching retirement, but I'm looking forward to the new shoes a little too! If you're on the fence about which tire to pick, do not hesitate any longer. This is the tire and you will be pleased 1000s of miles later! P.S. the wife just got a new Jeep and in the next week or so, it will be wearing Toyo MTs!

I drive a 2014 JK Jeep Rubican and I bought at set of the Open Country A/T II Extreme, 35 inch, at Les Schwab in Florence, Oregon while I was on vacation. I live in Southern California. I was going to purchase the new BF Goodrich A/T KO2s. The salesman turned me on the the Extremes. These tires are awesome! On my road trip back home, the tires run quiet and smooth. Best of all, my gas miles improved from 18 to 21 mpg at 65 mph, which is huge for a Jeep. I have a 2.5 in lift and running my stock rims with Spider 1.5 inch rim spacers. Over Labor weekend, I hit the trails, had no problems with slipping, the tires grip the trail awesome. I have 3,000 miles on the tires. If your looking for a great tire and want good gas mileage for an off road vehicle, I highly recommend a set of Open Country A/T II Extreme.

Toyo A/T II is the best wearing, longevity, on/off road, thread pattern, balancing, water sipping tire there is available on the market from my personal experience. I've ran just about every name brand tire on my vehicles that took a ton of weights to get balanced, didn't wear even, and the load rating could not carry weight safely. And then Toyo read our mind and designed this All Terrain tire to do just what others could not. Just by looking at the actual tire thread, you can tell how well it will perform and the longevity of the thread. Toyo made a quality product that will insure the safety of you and your family on trips. Keep the great products coming Team Toyo.

I've had a variety of tires on different trucks and SUV's over the years. I use my truck/suv to pull boat and toy trailers up mountains and through deserts. We occasionally make family trips to the snow in the sierras and Big Bear as well. Hands down the best performing tire I have ever owned, and the piece of mind when hauling while under load. As far as road noise? Any brand Mud Terrain or BFG A/T is louder. I run the OPEN COUNTRY A/T II LT305/55/20.

The Toyo test-drive 500 mile is a game changer in that regard. Then, will the tire balance out or vibrate? These balanced like a dream. Great looking tire as well IMO. I put 285/70-17 on my Jeep Rubicon and I like them. Ride great Smooth. So far... I am Very Happy with the choice.

I bought the P-metric hoping to have similar ride and handling characteristics of the stock Bridgestone Duelers from the factory. I had 60K miles on the stock tires and was experiencing lack of traction in wet conditions. The new Toyos are no better than the Bridgestones with 60K miles. In wet conditions they slip and hydroplane. In winter they push through turns and my traction control is constantly working whereas I seldom had it kick in with the factory tires. I am extremely disappointed, driving my Jeep this winter I am not confident in the traction or tracking of my vehicle. Sad because I have 8K miles on these tires and I expect them to last 50-60K. I will replace sooner than that unfortunately.

The value is certainly there with the ATII version. Have had on Jeep WJ, & 2015 Ram 2500 4x4. All in all a great mix for long life, comfortable ride, and great off road capability. They air down nicely to 20psi for all the rocky stuff AZ has to throw at me and grip rocks and dirt like no tomorrow. They perform better on and off road than the BFG ko2 for sure. Could be slightly quieter on highway towards middle of tread life. Room for improvement in wet traction and braking. Best value in a tire so far. Going to Ridge Grappler in my 4runner because Toyo doesn't have a C load range in 285/70r17 nor do they have in a 265/75r17 which would be my ideal size - just doesn't exist though. Hopefully the Nittos do as good as these have for me on the road.

I bought these tires for the 65,000 mile warranty, but I'm having to replace them with fewer than 25,000 miles because the tread is almost completely worn away. And, not only was the tread wear very poor, but the winter handling wasn't that great, either. I have 25 years Alaska winter driving experience, in all types of vehicles and all types of road conditions, and yet ended up in the ditch for the first time in my life with these tires, and I was NOT driving too fast. I am extremely disappointed! I paid $1,000 for these, and after two years, I'm having to fork over another $1,000. But this time, I'm not getting Toyo tires!

I put these on 20k ago as a replacement of my OEM titan tires. I wanted a tire that was quiet, but yet was able to get me around in the Iowa winters. I mostly drive on pavement and have been pleasantly surprised to find that the road nose is no different than my OEM tires that had much less aggressive tread. During the last Iowa winter I had great traction. They are wearing well and would recommend these tires to anyone.

I have a 2015 F250 Super Duty FX4 with the 6.7 ltr diesel and haul a 35 ft. 5th wheel. These tires handle the load well and have never left me stuck in snow, sand or in the yard even with my 5th wheel in tow. I've had to drive up some pretty steep gravel inclines with my 5th wheel behind and have never had a single issue with slippage in gravel in camp grounds (not counting the occasional heavy right foot).

I purchased my first set at just under 100k miles and wore them to the bars. I enjoyed every one of the nearly 70k miles I got from this set both on and off road and I drive my truck hard. Next set was as good in the same conditions after which I moved to Michelins...a mistake. When they wore out I went back to AT's for the traction, quiet ride and extended wear. My only complaint is that I can't get them in my wheel size anymore as Toyo has discontinued the 14" AT's that fit my '97 Tacoma. I highly recommend these for light pickups like my Tacoma and at 365k miles now and my third set of AT's I'm hoping I can find a tire as good when these wear out.

This model tire is well constructed and has proven itself many times over for the money spent. The sidewalls are flexible and durable for the occasional rock crawling that is encountered while on dirt roads and maintaining good traction in soft and loose soil conditions. The tread wear is even - make sure to check pressure and rotate them on schedule. The lugs clear the mud and snow well. We have been pleased and have turned almost 60 thousand on the meter for tires installed in may of 2013. They had the grip for the adventure of Gone Moab 2016. We will purchase this product again.

As others noted the snow traction seemed weak, I will try the new Open Country C/T next. I really liked the load rating of 129 for the size I selected, which seems rare. The camper puts the rear axle weight at 6,400 lbs. We go off road with the camper, so nice to a) have something very strong, and b) not have to bounce around with 80 psi.

While moving from No. Ca. to Montana, I had two BFG KTM2's separate after 30k miles of good service within 1,000 miles of each other. (I believe this was because "the tire store" reversed the direction during the last tire rotation#. A Les Schwab was my only choice within 100 miles. Four new Toyo Open Country AT II's were recommended as "top of the line". Before reaching I-80, my wife pulled the truck over fearing she had a loose tire as the truck was "not tracking" and "wondering all over the place". The lugs were all tight, but I found the dealer had aired the tires to 65 PSI. At the next stop I increased the air pressure to the Max 80 PSI. The condition improved somewhat but the truck #loaded and towing# continued to "wonder". Once we arrived in Montana, I just parked the truck and finished the move using my crew-cab & trailer. TI later learned that this tire only has a two ply sidewall. Now I'm dealing with a different Les Schwab that's trying to blame the truck for an "instant handling issue" and I'm going to have to "pay more" to try the M-55 that has a 3 ply sidewall and firmer "commercial" construction. These AT's might be fine tires on a light truck that doesn't haul or tow, but I don't recommend them for larger, working trucks. As it turns out, it doesn't appear that Toyo recommends this tire for my truck either.

I'm about to buy my second set for my 2011 Toyota Tundra double cab 5.7L. After 70K miles they're still legal and amazingly still do well on packed snow and ice. These are great all-condition tires. They do well on dry and wet roads but really shine in the snow and ice. Note; I got mine sipped, which I've done with every truck tire I've owned in the last 10 years. My off road driving is mostly on forest roads and mild trails. They do fine off road but they would not be my first choice for muddy terrain due to the narrow spaces in between the blocks (not very aggressive). I have the P-metric/3 ply version and they have handled and held up well with my Tundra which weights about 6600 lbs loaded.

This is my second set and they have always been great. Most aggressive tread pattern for quiet pavement miles. I have recommended these to friends who also love the tire. My only knock was that they were very average in snow and ice compared to other AT's I've had. Much more drifting and sliding than previous tires. I will probably try a different tire that has better ice and snow ratings, but other than that it works fine on normal off road conditions.

They were great in mud and rock as well as the sandy trails. They ride nice around town and have very little road noise. Haven't had them long enough to comment on tread life but don't appear to have much change after the ride from Florida to Georgia through the trails and back! Very happy with these tires and will either be buying Toyo MT or these again!

Excellent tire, extra deep tread. I have 35’s on 17” stock rims on my 2500 cummins. The only reason i gave it 4 stars on ride handling is they make the truck feel loose like it’s a little top heavy. So it took a little getting used to. (After I took my old Hancook AT3 35’s off by far the best tires I’ve ever had. But a lot more expensive) There’s a little road noise not quit that of a mud terrain but louder than many all terrain tires I’m used to. Over all a good all terrain tire.

I towed over 60k of the 76k I got out of the last set of Toyo AT2's (315/75) Unreal! I will never own a different tire. Best handling in all conditions, best wear, best ride of any tire I have owned. As far as "simple tire" goes, these guys are awesome and run a tight ship. I had my tires shipped free of charged and delivered in 3-4 days to Washington state! Very impressed. Thanks again you guys.

I have had these tires on a Jeep Liberty for two months now. I got the P rated version and was worried they wouldn't look as good as the LT version I had seen on other vehicles. I am thrilled with the way they look -- aggressive but not too knobby. The tires do have a slight hum to them that is most noticeable around town between 35 and 50 mph. It's something I can live with given the aggressive tread pattern. The tire noise is not noticeable on the highway as the wind noise from the vehicle drowns it out at those speeds. I have not had the tires off-road or in wet/snowy weather yet but will add another review as they get more miles on them.

This is my SECOND set...the first ones lasted 78,000. At that high of mileage they were still road worthy, but I was getting stuck in the snow/slush. I LOVE THESE TIRES. Will keep buying them. I sell real estate in Northern Michigan. I am easily OFF the road more than ON the road. I need a tire that can do both...these ROCK♥

I only have about 1600 miles on the tires but what a difference they are compared to the other tires I had and from what I have used my truck for with the Toyo tires on them have made my mind at ease with them gripping the road and or dirt. Only having 1600 miles I can not say anything about tread life yet and nor about winter traction since I haven't had them on winter conditions yet but love the tire so far.

Best tires I have ever bought! since my truck is a dually and will not intentionally be going offroad, all terrains were my choice. even being classed as an "all terrain", the Toyos are AGRESSIVE! the tire in the size I got are considered an "extreme tread" and are more aggressive than some mud tires on the market. even with them being on the aggressive side , they are not loud or rough riding. still to early to tell on tread wear but with a 45K mile tread wear warranty I have faith in the tires lasting. the stock General Ameritracs only lasted ~24K.
