Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow Tire Reviews
(Based on 2 Reviews)
I have these installed on a 2007 BMW X5 E70 with stocks being 255/55/18. I went with a 255/60/18 even though discount tires computer said they would rub. I have no rubing issues at full turn right or left fully loaded with driver and 5 passengers weighing at 200+ lbs each. With the slightly taller 60, ride comfort increased by at least 60% prior to the 55 height original from factory, and in my opinion looks much better. They fill the wheel wells and look more like they belong on the car. We live in Seattle so we get all the seasons here and these so far have been great in the rain, cold, and 2" of snow and slush weve gotten so far. Grip is subperb to the Bridgestones I had. No road noise cornering at 40mph feels like 30. For the price these tires are excellent! Siping helps with water and to be honest I found about 4 bad reviews on these tires and don't understand why? Im a diesel tech by trade and know a good product for vehicles when I run into one and so far I love these tires. I feel much safer about my wife driving around on these tires then what I had on there before. Can't comment on tread life since I havent had them long enough but will update in a few months.
