Belts are separating after 30,000 miles with regular maintenance. Would never buy these tires again! Can not get the manufacturer to warranty them out or exchange them.

Date and mileage are approximate. Even though the car was aligned multiple times, the tire dealer blamed the lame wear performance on alignment issues. Considering my other cars with quality tires don't have the rapid wear exhibited by these tires, and my other cars have not been aligned nearly as frequently as this car, I'm skeptical. Regarding traction, they are fine in perfect weather, and adequate in rain. Cold and snow makes these tires perform poorly, and I would recommend not using them in the winter. To underscore my point, my 20-somehthing son was driving home in light snow. On a corner, the tires lost traction and the car slid into the curb, breaking the axel ($$$). If I had ditched these tires and put on quality tires last fall, I am 80% confident the car would not have gone into a slide. It's up to you to decide whether you think your 20-something son, or wife, or you, would stand a better chance in bad conditions with a quality tire.
