I absolutely love these tires! I have them on my BMW 335i that has 615 hp to the rear wheels and they do great for a 95% daily driver, handling and breaking is great. Yes there are tires that are a little bit better for the track but that’s just it they are track tires, these tires are all around great tires dry and wet. I even had them on last winter and drove every day rain, snow and ice and had no problem. Dread wear is even and long lasting to my surprise. Well worth the money!
These tires have amazing dry and wet grip, perfect for the occasional track day and great for the streets. Ride noise is minimal, tread life is decent. Don't expect the same level of grip that you get from real performance tires, but these PS 4S tires have not let me down. There's a reason why these tires come standard on Ferrari, Porsche, and other high end sports cars. While I am very impressed, I will not be buying them again. I cannot justify the the cost of the PS 4S tires when there are grippier tires that will only last 1/2 of the life, but cost less than 1/3rd the price. These tires don't make financial sense for someone who frequently competes in events.By submitting a review, each person received a sweepstakes entry.
I replaced the factory Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on my Porsche GT4 with the PS4s. As fantastic as the Sport Cups were in the dry, they were a real handful in wet conditions. The PS4s provide a huge improvement in wet grip and handling with no meaningful loss in performance in the dry when driving on public roads. For a very low-profile tire the ride harshness and noise are just fine. Given that the car is used most on public roads (vs. track), the PS4s are a perfect choice.
