Michelin Cross Terrain SUV Tire Reviews
(Based on 3 Reviews)
I have driven 20,000 average miles per year and loved these tires. I seemed like I could NOT wear out my 245/65-17 Cross Terrain tires. When they got down 2-3/32 tread depth, they made more noise, and of course, became more slippery in heavy rain. I tried to buy another set on eBay and Amazon, but the USED ones just went too high. Discontinued in January 2013, new tires were not available in this size. Originally, I bought five tires, because I changed sizes slightly, but never used the spare (on eBay now) because none of other four every lost nitrogen nor went flat. I down-rated the WET & WINTER only because something has to be worse than perfect. I was only in snow once going over Stevens Pass, and when the rear began to slip, the front kicked in on my Buick Rainier SUV, and away we went. Lots of wet driving with no problems, but that is the driver's responsibility. No tire is great in heavy rain, in my opinion. These were great tires. I up-sized to 245/70-17 Bridgestone tires, because Michelins were out of my price range, and I bought five again.
I have had these tires on my Chev Trailblazer since new, and have 82,000 km on them with enough tread to go one more year. Will certainly buy again.
