- Whether you drive a Ferrari, Porsche, or another supercar, you likely need a set of tires that matches your ride's capabilities. Using the same engineering that powered 13 consecutive victors at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Michelin's Pilot Super Sport is designed to give supercar drivers strong braking, handling, comfort, and fuel efficiency plus long wear. A special compound in the tire's tread allows for excellent braking on dry roads, making the Super Sport a common choice for drivers of the Audi R8, BMW 3-Series and M5, Ferrari 599, and Porsche 997 and Panamera GTS.
Ultra High Performance (or UHP) tires have a speed rating of V or greater and are used on sports cars, super cars, and other powerful vehicles. Commonly featuring a wide footprint and low profile, UHP tires provide excellent traction and steering response but should not be used when temperatures are at 40 degrees or below.
Passenger tires are some of the most common tires you'll find on the roads today, and frequently used on coupes, sedans, hatchbacks, minivans, and other passenger vehicles. Passenger tires are available in a wide variety of types, such as all-season, winter, and ultra-high-performance.
This product is covered by a 30,000 miles mile manufacturer’s treadlife warranty. Merchandise covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer’s warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The only tires SimpleTire can warranty are brand new defects (meaning that they have not been mounted or driven on). Any bead damaged will be void of any warranty claim. Any other adjustments should be taken to the nearest authorized dealer for that manufacturer. Sometimes the manufacturer also provides a treadlife warranty and mileage rating. Please be aware that not all tires hold a mileage warranty from the manufacturer. Different tire models, even from the same manufacturer, may or may not come with a treadlife warranty.
