SimpleTire Supports Humanitarian Efforts Through Rotary
In an effort to support communities in need, SimpleTire has donated $3,000 to Rotary Club of Bombay and Mumbai Mahim—one of Rotary's international clubs dedicated to serving communities in India in various service based projects.
Rotary is a non-government international organization comprised of over a million people engaged in humanitarian efforts worldwide. SimpleTire's donation will support Rotary in increasing the scope and reach of its humanitarian projects to help aid a large section of underprivileged communities in India.
"We believe it's important to give back to people, especially to those who need it most. Supporting worthy causes like Rotary is near and dear to our hearts and we trust that every penny will go towards improving the lives of many," said SimpleTire CEO, Andy Chalofsky.
With continued effort and support from its members and donors, Rotary has been successful in achieving various need-based and purposeful initiatives targeted to deserving and underprivileged sections of the world since 1905.
Rotary's projects focus on providing aid in Polio eradication, education and literacy, peace and conflict resolution, as well as water and sanitation, to name a few.
ROTARY was founded in the year 1905 and is one of the largest and the oldest NGO engaged in humanitarian activities worldwide. Rotary's activities are spread through 1.2 million members in 32,000 clubs in 200 countries. Rotary is made up of three parts; at the heart of Rotary are our clubs, that are supported by Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation.
