Simple Tire Roundup: Reliable Tractor Tires

There’s a lot to consider when it comes to rear tractor tires – soil compaction, flotation, ride, traction, wear and resistance to damage. We rounded up some of our own favorite tractor tires for you to consider:

  • Michelin MultiBib – Compared to standard radials, the Michelin MultiBib offers a much larger footprint, with a wider tread and longer sidewall flex zone. The MultiBib’s tread formulation offers up to 35% longer service life than many of its competitors; it also carries a D speed rating, meaning it can carry loads at up to 40 mph.

  • Firestone Performer 70 – All of the Firestone Performer series are an excellent value in ag tires; the Performer 70 is designed for high-powered traction, with excellent performance in both normal and soft, wet conditions. Longer lugs for improved wear on pavement.

  • Carlisle Farm Specialist R1 HA – The Carlisle Farm Specialist R-1 HA is an excellent value in a classic ag tire, with a 45 degree straight bar tread design, radial construction and tough rubber compound that’s designed to hold up to the most rugged conditions you can find on a farm.

  • Michelin Agribib Row Crop – Designed for narrow row farming applications, the specialized Agribib Row Crop features deep lugs and a rubber compound designed for low wear and an exceptionally long service life. The sharp vertical lugs of the Agribib Row Crop are designed to provide traction even when 70% worn down.
