Accelera Iota ST68 Tire Reviews
(Based on 8 Reviews)
I am happy with the quality of these tires. However, I would like to inform everyone else that these tires are not going to last long.
Shopped around for tires due to the sticker shock for 255/55/R20 size. I wanted an inexpensive set of tires for my GMC Acadia Denali. The tires I replaced was a set of Bridgestones. My review for Dry Handling, Wet Handling, Ride Handling, Ride Noise, Tread Life and Winter Traction as follows: Dry Handling -Very good grip when accelerating from a stop. Tires did not spin or squealed. Felt very confident with the tires capabilities while turning whether it is a tight corner or long sweeping entrance/exit ramps. Wet Handling -I live in Florida and it has been raining a bit. Felt very confident in the tires capabilities of performing on wet pavement. Ride Handling -Not sure why I see bad reviews for handling? A reviewer said had issues with noise and vibration. For me, I have experienced zero vibrations at any speeds. My vehicle drives straight with the tires installed. For noise, I'll explain in a bit. Ride Noise -Tires performance for noise is the same, if not, better than the Bridgestones I had prior to installing the new set. It does not howl at any speeds. For me, I simply hear the different textures from newly paved stretches of highway to beaten-up, neglected streets. Unless you drive a high-end vehicle that's equipped with the best sound deadening materials, of course you wouldn't hear a thing! Going over bumps, I noticed it wasn't as harsh as the Bridgestones. I commute a particular stretch of not-so-smooth road, the Bridgestones let me felt every bone-jarring bumps. These, it wasn't so harsh! For that, I was extremely pleased and made my commute a pleasure! For my everyday driving, these performed satisfactorily! Tread Life -As of this review, I cannot give an honest evaluation. As long as I follow the recommended manufacturer's tire rotation schedule, I would be satisfied if it reaches its typical wear performance. Winter Traction -I cannot provide a performance reviews for winter driving as I live in Florida and have never seen it snowing. Maybe a light flurry but that's about it. Overall, I choose Simple Tire it had an aggressive Memorial Day sale promotion. It was so competitive, it beat out other online tire retailers even my local tire retailers too! It was easy to navigate the site to find tires and checking out was just as easy. I opted to have them shipped to my home instead of shipping to an installer as I didn't have a dedicated day to bring in my vehicle. Once I brought it in, I had no issues. It was a typical in and out install. I would definitely buy again!!!

These tires are a complete mess, total garbage. Don't waste your time and money, i ordered a set for a bmw x6 and the noise and vibration were a safety hazard. Simple tire reps were really helpful and after the second set came defective, i was refunded expeditionatly and without hassle. Will order again from simple tire but not these tires. As far as snow and ice they have ZERO traction, totally useless even for normal driving.. Don't waste your money.
For the price, these are very good tires. They don't truly compete with the big brand names on overall performance but at one third the cost, they're not really intended to. What they do really well is provide a solid alternative to the big brands if you're looking for a long-wearing everyday tire in an ultra-low profile size. They are a little noisy but all 35-series and lower sidewall tires are a bit noisier - it's the price you pay for slinging little more than rubber bands around your rims. They grip well in wet and dry and do not squeal when pushed hard like hard, cheap tires do. Turn in feel is good and feedback is adequate, contributing to confidence in the contract patches all the way through the corners. They are outside/inside specific so you can actually rotate them side-to-sure as opposed to full directional tires which wear out even quicker because you can't rotate them properly. Great value!
Great tires, I use Federals on my track car and SUV. Best of all was the price I paid for these 22in tires. I almost believe it was a typo.By submitting a review, each person received a sweepstakes entry.
I live in south Florida and it’s always raining. I read a few reviews about the lack of wet handling with these tires. Overall, the tires are very comfortable and I have nothing negative to say.By submitting a review, each person received a sweepstakes entry.
